Or at least i was told they do. So, here is my thoughts about it. Sadly, i don't see suggestion board, but support recommended me to post in player behaviour, so i do.

I already have victirious Graves, Morgana, and Sivir. I don't like any of those champs. Now i will have Orianna that i don't just don't like, but don't even have because why i have to get things i don't like... This leads to sad situation when over and over I receive end season reward that has zero value for me. In the same time, i don't have any good skins. I have many shards, but none of them are someone i like to have... You can say - buy the right skins you want, but the thing is that income in my country is not enough to pay for them, for example - to simply get world pass i have to pay 1\3 of my total month income. It's slightly cheaper in russian server (was affordable before RUB and UAH price felt to the ground), but i had to move on eu because i was harrased by russians for being a ukrainian all the time. So, what if we could have alternate end seson reward - a skin shard of our choice, tier based on what tier we had in ranked? Or, if that still seems too cheap - what about tranding any 10 (or even 15) skin shards on guaranteed skin of our choice? I already know a few that i could grab. This could solve so much problems - people like me who can't buy rp and too unlucky to get right shards can still have nice skins, people won't be unsatisfied if victorious skin will be released for the champ they don't like, because they will be able to trade it for better reward.

I can confirm that this shit really happens. Russian propaganda is far from pretty and I am sorry you had to deal with its consequences.

Thankfully, you shouldn't play on russian server simply because matchmaking there is... not very good, to put it lightly.

Most people prefer victorious skins because they are unique, to the point of being uncraftable and it's something to show off that you are a seasoned player.

Or simply, let players discard their Victorious skin for a random skin on a champ of their choosing. I know not many people would opt into this because of the limited factor the victorious skins carry. But why not let people have the option?

I think ur idea about the skin shard crafting would prbly be better suited for higher elo rewards (plat/diamond up) from a business perspective. Skins are Riots main source of income, especially the more expensive ones and ones designed to be cash grabs. And generally people are going to want to craft those over more basic skins... yes, silver is the average, but gold is only slightly above avg and a large amount of the playerbase is in gold.

A compromise could be a “your shop”esque scenario but with ur choice of champions. Even that seems like a lot.

I’d say a ward skin and icon both of ur own choosing, alongside emotes BE/Orange essence and gemstone would be a good add on?

Maybe an exclusive chest?
