Give Rengar the Kha'Zix Treatment

Don't let Rengar cast all his abilities mid-air.

Seriously, why is he even allowed to do so in the first place. Kha'Zix's W was changed to not fire while he leaps because it was too obnoxious to deal with, so why hasn't Riot done the same with Rengar?

Rengar's damage is off the charts, but that is not necessarily making him overpowered. Unlike other assassins, he is the only one that can kill a target at the beginning of a combo rather than the end. By the time Rengar leaps from a bush or from stealth, it is already too late. Chances are, his Q-Empowered Auto-Attack, Hydra, Bola Strike, and Roar, all of which cast in mid air, will 100-0 the ADC. His damage has a 0.01 second window from start to finish. Even if you have the reflex of a professional designated hitter AND the correct ability/item to stop Rengar, it will still be a struggle given ping and animation delays.

Rengar literally has no counter play. His combo is too fast for human reflexes, and that is no exaggeration. The only methods to stop him is to CC him before he jumps or prevent him from getting enough gold to buy his items. (Or hope the player is bad, but that applies to all champions.)

However, these options are not always viable. To spot Rengar during his ultimate, someone needs to drop a pink ward AND the team needs a champion with a fast point and click CC that can be buffered. Forget skill shots, by the time the projectile is properly aimed and leaves the champion hit box it is already too late. As well, Rengar will eventually get the item he needs if he is not too far behind. Counter jungling and ganking him early only delays the problem. If done well enough, Rengar may spend the entire game playing catch up and never reach the amount of damage he needs. However, once he gets to that point, he cannot be stopped.

This sort of play style should not be allowed. To effectively utilize counter play against Rengar, players would literally have to use scripts.

By moving his damage to AFTER his jump, it at least gives his targets a chance to get away. He will still 100-0 the ADC once he lands, but the ADC will have the time during the jump animation to employ any counter play against Rengar.

I said this a while ago. Not sure if they will go through with it but this is literally the only thing he needs for people to stop complaining.

Because it would break him? He'd literally turn to trash tier...
