Remove Headhunter Passive from Serrated Dirk

The passive is so badly designed, as opposed to overpowered or underpowered, that it could safely be removed or replaced. Serrated Dirk could receive a small compensation buff if necessary.

  1. Not interesting. It’s just bonus damage on next spell. There’s no visual or sound effect or even an indication that it was used.

  2. Cannot be controlled. When the passive is up, it’s up, and is essentially wasted on a minion or monster unless used on an enemy champion.

  3. Hidden power. Opponents of a champion owning a primed Dirk don’t know that it’s ready or not and just occasionally take more damage.

If Serrated Dirk even needs a passive, rather than flat stats to compensate, then surely we could think of something more interesting, controllable, and clear to both users and opponents than Headhunter.

If you agree, then what do you think it could have instead?

I definitely agree - the passive just isn't terribly useful at all, and is just too...poorly-designed.

I just hope it gets something besides more lethality/AD as compensation.

Edited accordingly.

It could use some work, though you have the effect wrong. It's 40 damage on your next spell, not attack, and applies fully even on AoE
