support is the easiest role in this game

this year, Riot should make it their goal to make supporting less of a braindead role. Add some complexity to support, cause as of right now it pretty much comes down to permashielding someone with no thought involved whatsoever.

the fact that when a** support** player gets autofilled into** top/jungle/mid/adc guarantees a loss REALLY says something about the support role**

It's like you guys are very good at supporting, but nothing else. 0 carry potential. But it's sad that only a few support mains are willing to admit that their role is definitely the easiest in the hierarchy of roles in the game.

and btw dont come to me with "i can carry with zyra/brand/malz" because they're not supports.

I get that you may have had a bad game or two that lead to this, but that doesn't excuse you insulting a good deal of people, because you can't seem to handle your situation.

its more of me getting autofilled support mains and them being absolutely worthless with the gold they get from ganks/kills. Because the support role doesnt give you the carry mentality its such a horrible thing that support players dont understand

How can they get autofilled if they're support mains????? It just doesn't happen. Also, anyone who mains a role and is put in another role has the same chance of being useless. I'm a mid main and if I'm autofilled jungle, I'm going to lose. You're using your extreme bias against supports to make a pointless thread just because you hate the role in a whole. The only posts I see from you are about supports. Chill dude, because your main champion has the highest winrate as a support in the game.

Zyra hasn't been a midlaner for 2 years, brand and malz are heading in that direction as well.

If support is so easy, why doesnt anyone ever want to play it? I see this huge hatred for support from you, but I don't think you've even played the role.

Support, just like any other role, played properly, is just as difficult as any other role imo. There are a lot of people who play support because they just want to fight and suck at CSing and those are the ones who get autofilled and lose automatically. I would argue that good supports are more of generalist players than any other roles because they watch the map constantly, know where to ward, know when it safe to disengage, etc because they touch on those skills more often than most other roles. I hate hearing anything is easier than anything. IMO toplane is the easiest role because lately it seems to have the smallest impact. They dont have to worry about 4 man ganks 8 minutes into a game because noone cares, its toplane.

If you pick Janna and sit at max range from your ADC and only cast your E, then it's basically like what you described. However, if you want to be worth an ounce of salt, you will be roaming, warding, assisting other lanes, and then when mid/late game come, be doing your more specialized role. (Tanky supports can engage or soak up damage, enchanters can peel and keep teammates alive, and the mages, well they basically do what everyone else that you're not complaining about does: damage.)

Also, if you are a support main, you don't get autofilled unless you haven't been playing as support. You can get a secondary role, which ISN'T being autofilled.

imo it really got dumbed down with the new locket and redemption. even if you or your team fuck up majorly you have two items that provide a massively good fallback

imo both support champs are too similar to each other and support items are too generally good, with no real competition as far as what to buy goes

No playmaking potential? Clearly you've never turned the tide of a team fight in your favor with a well placed Nami, Lulu, Thresh, Leona, or Bard ult.

I find jungling way easier than supporting. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier. And not only it's easier, but you have a bigger impact too.

Why do I play support then? I dont play support anymore, I quitted.

dude the reason why the game is lost if the mid and top for example are support mains and are autofilled is because they

arent used to play a solo lane
cant cs as well as others (i guess i dont have to explain whyy)

support is not easy. it may appear so because they are mostly there to shield and peel. if you play it yourself its really not easy to always keep everyone alive, accept if you play soraka or some of those stupid easy champs.

so the reason that support mains dont wanna admit that their role is the easiest is simply cause its not true... and honestly, you are probably an adc main so if you are STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT OTHER ROLES BEING EASY! AN ADC MAIN BEING REPLACED WITH A MIDLANE MAIN (perkz) EXPLAINS EVERYTHING.

reasons why adc is easy:

the adc gets his ass carried by the support in early
in team fights he just needs to wait for the engage (mostly coming from the support) and stay in backline until then
you basically just right click

i do agree with you in a way tho... they should just rework all the braindead champs like yuumi, sona etc.
