Why are you forcing Taric into bot lane?

Please take notes from the Mordekaiser rework... How about you make Taric's W shatter when you cast it a second time while it's active (if it's self-cast)? Give it back its AoE armor scaling dmg & armor pen please :'( You can make it work exactly like Mordekaiser's W, shattering on second cast/after the shield breaks (makes sense).

I get your W complaint, but how is his new ult anything like Bard's? Bard can use his on enemies, allies, turrets, and neutrals. It has massive range while Taric's is fairly short ranged and only works on allies. Hell, one is even stasis while the other is invuln which means you can still be CC'd in it. Comparing apples to oranges.

Please note that none of his abbilities seem to have a champion limiter, That means he can use Heal and Bastion on minions. (invul too, but what would be the point?)

Eh, Riot can't please everyone I guess,

On my part, I think the rework looks absolutely stunning in every aspect.

The splash arts a epic and fully capture Taric's persona, The kit is built around utility, and not to mention his W - Bastion conduit ability, which is an uncommon mechanic so far, I'm glad to see more of it.

And today I heard the VO, which remains super Taric-ish, and filled with Gem one-lines. I'm just sad they took the ''Gems are truly outrageous'' line.

Overall, I think Riot did a bang up job

I personally find it well annoying I guess is the best word for it. That he went from having three abilities that did damage and made it so I wanted to be near the enemy backline for the shatter over just the one ability that deals damage and I do not even have to be near the backline cause I could just cast it from a tank.. Just blerghs

He can be played Top and Jungle no problem. His only damage spell might be his E now, but therefore the passive really hits like a truck. Level 1 with one E-Passive combo you smash 104 base damage with a 45% Armor scaling. and that only grows. Level 2 E with Level 3 passive deals 160 +60% Armor and you can just use your W on yourself right after for another 60+15% Armor. Remember the old passive only did 20% of your Armor, no base damage, so with the new Taric, you get the base damage (22 on level 1, +4 each level) and you only lose 5% Armor scaling, which means you only lose if you ever have an insane amount of Armor.

I'm quite sure he can still can still go top lane. People were whining about Shen being "forced" bot lane because of one skill as well, yet he remained Top lane and does quite well there.

He's a tank that can support. I lol'd you seem like one of the people who would bitch at me for bringing velkoz botlane, or sion botlane. Wait your turn for your top champion. He's a support and he's staying one lol.

He's a support champion that hardly anyone plays anymore and only really works top lane versus some AD champs played by bad players. The rework is going to make him a lot more interesting and fun to play and sorry that he won't be able to top lane anymore but he was never a viable choice in 99% of games.

Also, his ult is nothing like Bard's ult what are you even talking about? The new Taric ult is a delayed aoe Kayle ult where it only affects allies and they allies can move and attack.

Champs are made to either deal damage, take damage for the team, or to keep allies alive. Taric is the last kind.
