So I saw this red post earlier talking about how they reworked nidalee because of her playstyle that was basicly 1.) Throw Spear 2a.) Did it hit? Throw another or go in and finish kill. 2b.) Did it miss? Wait for it to come back up and throw another one.

And that made me think, isin't blitzcrank the SAME EXACT THING? 1.) Throw Hook 2a.) Did it hit? All in or if he survives throw another one. 2b.) Did it miss) Wait for it come come back up and throw another one.

Why has blitzcrank been left in this state but they changed the old nidalee?

Nidalee is broken.. the old one was broken and the current one is broken.. all blitz does is pull people.. nidalee can 1 shot people.. That's also why she's getting another rework in the assassin update.

You clearly didn't understand/read the post. Nidalee's rework had literally NOTHING to do with her balance, it had to do with her play style. All she did was throw spears, THAT WAS IT. All blitzcrank does is pull, THAT IS IT.

You havent seen a full AP blitzcrank then....... 1:1 ratio on his Q and R make for 2k damage at late game, and that is if you just Q and R right away..... that isnt including Ludins, passive zaps from Ultimate, or his E for knock and lichbane....... I have done 3k damage easy in a very short combo time.

But i do agree with the OP.... Blitz is used 80% for the pull, 10% for knock, and 110% for the fact that enemies just love to target his hardness xD

Quite a bit more popular than you might think. Normally you have high AP but also high Mana, from ROA, Seraphs, and Lichbane, so your passive shield is about the size of your health bar. Swift boots cause it minimizes your self slow, Ludins, and Deathcap. Should try it sometime in mid. If you can land a hook, its quite lovely. Also, I would suggest a gold coin starting item for AP blitz...... helps sustain and mana regen, and if they poke hard and you cant go to farm, tada! Free gold.
