Just when I found a comfortable setup to compensate for DFT in the wake of this fucking god awful rune system, Riot Games is already contemplating to nerf Summon Aery to be in more line with that fucking vomit known as Arcane Comet.

Its not shield based though? Its a hybrid rune intended for poke mages and supports.
Which is in itself a problem because mage =/= support. No matter how much riot wants all mages to be auxiliary supports for their glorious marksmen.

I'd consider Aery to be for champions with shields specifically as you're giving up half of it if you don't have a shield. Lux would be a good example of a champion that Aery should be okay on(though I personally think she'd do better with arcane comet because you can actually hit with a 100% success rate with Q so long as you actually land the Q, but otherwise the meteor wouldn't fire so 100% success rate). Morgana, Lulu, Sona, etc. It seems to be a more support based rune if you ask me.
