Make Yasuos Windwall duration scale with rank, along with letting him use it more

What i mean is, Overall lower the duration of it, and make it be like 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds for each of the levels. This would make it more of an outplay tool, like Fioras Ritposte, instead of just spamming it during fights.

Honestly I would prefer it to be 1 second but like a 10 second CD, with a 1 second 'channel' where he can still do everything.

Basically he uses it more often, but you can outplay it by holding your abilities for just a second, or by catching him off guard.

Yasuo doesn't need more tools to outplay, people don't like him because his Windwall doesn't have very viable counterplay (basically it's run until it ends... which can be really long).

With the lower duration and channel it needs to be more of a proactive thing so people don't feel like shit when he throws out a W last second and blocks a full combo/ult, so when he Windwalls stuff you actually feel hella outplayed (as he needs to choose the direction he's gonna throw it in a full second before it actually goes off). It'll still be a fairly strong ability, since you could time it to cut off an ADC from a Mage right as you ult or engage on them, with the second being enough to kill squishies if you already hit a Q+R.

Try 20 seconds, as 10 seconds is nothing. That's about the same cooldown as a mage's regular damage skill, if not shorter. It's still a powerful ability that removes any projectile ults. It can have a slightly high cooldown to prevent abuse and windows of counterplay.

Yasuo doesn't build CDR though, unlike Mages. 10 seconds is quite a lot for a skirmisher.

Nocturne's shield is at 20-12sec and Sivir's at 22-10sec. Neither of them build CDR either.

Keep in mind, Yasuo has a free shield that blocks more than a support's shield would.

I think a channel on his windwall would be too much.

It's not a full on channel, he can still move and cast abilities and auto. More like a delay. It's so he can't use it reactively and instead needs to plan out or predict shit.

He's compensated by a halved cooldown.

lol how about no? Instead, lets nerf his damage 10%/week until his ban rate falls back to normal.

I'd also recommend keeping it the same size instead of making it bigger per level. It can already block a lot with how big it is at rank 1 and Yasuo players that know how to use it rarely "miss" it in situations where a bigger wall would stop the projectile.
