Why is it possible for any champion to do 1500 damage, ever?

1500 damage in 1.5 seconds, mind you. at all stages of the game, that much damage before you can react is absurd.

Many champions can do that. Nunu can probably do that in a single ult. However I am going to have to refer you to this thread

Why does there need to be a champion for the question to matter? Its an overall problem, not a singular problem.

Again, why does there need to be an explicit reason for a thread asking why its possible for any champion to do 1500 damage in less than two seconds? Its a problem with the game as a whole, not a problem with individuals

Dunno if you realize, but 1500 stacks on nasus is a metric frag ton.
Must make you feel good, pointing infinite scaling champs being exceptions huh? Getting 1500 stacks on nasus is like getting 1000 AP on any champ. if you can somehow do it, you deserve the damage you do.

However, that doesnt excuse you from doing it in less than two seconds (again, unless youre someone like nasus who can scale infinitely).

You do know there are items you can buy that have something called armor and magic resist right? Yes, I know there's the item 3035 and item 3135 , and general ArPen and MRPen which reduces their effectiveness however, that doesn't mean you just don't outright buy them at all

The only champions that can reliably and consistently do this are Assassins.

Even fully fed ADC's cant put out that much damage unless they have 100 percent crit chance and some crit damage runes and even then the enemy would have to be squishy as hell.

The only Assassins ATM who can do that kind of burst are Zed/Talon/Fizz and suprisingly Shaco and maybe LB or Annie.

Annie IMO needs to be labeled into an Assassin because her entire playstyle plays just like it. Nuke one person back out nuke the next person is Assassin style in a cup.

But yea Zed/Talon/Fizz/Leblanc are the only assassins that can reliably and consistently do that much damage and Veigar against an AP opponent.

Annie as an assassin? .... Yeah i can see that. She needs more mobility to be labeled an assassin though. Yi can also output the same amount. I just had a match where the yi jungle did 1800 in 2.3 seconds.

Yi would have to be incredibly fed to do that much damage that quick or have IE and some kind of crit chance because hes not doing that alone even with his E on.

Also its a problem in my eyes when the word Assassin in league of legends is synonymous with mobility.

You mean assassins shouldnt have a get in get out ability that deals a chunk of HP too?! :C Every assassin in the game, bar evelynn, has some form of enhanced mobility. Whether thats a blink, a long distance dash, a jump, or stealth.
