The jungler can get to camp in moments with explosive plants, reveal stupid wards that should be only by control wards or oracle. Get rid of plants for 2 patches and see what people think. i think plants are a problem for ganks.

In my elo (silver) junglers rarely use scuttle or plants unless they just happen to walk by it.... So as a laner I just tend to take them when I can/need to.
Is this good or bad?
