Why aren't you playing Normals?

Here's my philosophy on it..

Let's compare to another League for example... National Hockey League (NHL).

This would be your LCS level of play.

Below that would be the American Hockey League (AHL) where farm teams are and where players are picked up to go to the NHL.

This would be your Ranked play.

Then you have your casuals, the "Beer Leagues".

This would be your Normal play.

So, why are you playing Ranked if you're not trying to make it to the LCS?

I'm playing ranked but i'm not trying to make it to the LCS.. I just wana see that my hard work is paying off (elo/rank). it's something i spend a lot of time on and enjoy. So I want to track my progress.

So you're unable to do so with the wins/loss counter in Normal play? What about the other stats provided for Normal play? Your point seems invalid.

Normals arn't as hard as ranked. Face it dood, not everyone plays video games competitively to actually go pro. Believe it or not people can be competitive at a game/sport w.o having intentions of being a professional.

Its harder to tell with normals because you never really know how good the people you are playing against are

You're unable to tell the skill of your opponent by their play style?

Then play Normals, thats the point of it.

ranked has fewer trolls and the elo matching is much better

5th pick trolls. that is the number one reason not to play ranked.

I mean people alot of the time play new stuff or tst stuff in normals so their play of that champ might not be a good refection of their true potential
