Flaw in the logic of removing rewards from players banned after August 10th...

It should be 2 months, so September 10th, since we weren't informed about this new rule until around mid August. This would be more fair.

Before this was put into place there was already a flaw in the system. People that have been playing this game for a while and already had a bunch of reports from just games over the years already had to walk on egg shells. With the amount of false reports people send in it doesn't take much to finally get reported from one game where you argue with someone so that riot has chat logs to 'justify' the ban. I'm not even sure why arguing is a bannable offfense honsetly. I'm sure you guys knew of this this flaw since you gave everyone a clean slate shortly after announcing that bans will cause players to be ineligible for rewards. Those that received bans right before the anouncement didn't get the chance of a clean slate and lost rewards since the ban time could have went into the announcement and threw the 10th..

I just really hope you guys consider this.

Actually, there is reasoning behind this;

You are expected to reform, not just avoid the penalty. There is a huge difference between the two.

The most toxic players were ineligible for Ranked rewards last season too, so you should have already been aware that this would be the case again.

Nope, you're toxic to this game and are being punished for it.

If your ONLY reason to NOT be toxic is the ranked rewards, then you should still be punished.

The problem with your statement is you are assuming something about me based on literally nothing. You don't know if I'm toxic. I could have played 1000 games this season and only been reported in a small handful, but since I've been playing since S2 I've had reports over the years. If you don't think your account has ever been reported you are wrong - people report for the smallest reason since there is no penality for a false report.

And honestly the ranked rewards aren't that big of a deal to me. Shiney borders aren't what defines a player's skill, their skill is what defines their skill. It is more of the principle of the matter. I feel as if this move was kind of a slap in the face to players that have been around for a while.

You just admitted that you were toxic and blamed the mute system on it

if you weren't toxic you wouldn't have to take offense in what i wrote.

That isn't really reasoning behind why the date is August 10th and not September 10th. The whole reasoning behind the system is to try to push people towards reforming, not to punish them before they had a chance to prove they have reformed after riot gave everyone a clean slate after the announcement.

In the past it was you had to be suspended during the end of the season, not within 3 months prior if I remember correctly. Instead of giving players an incentive to reform they are giving players an incentive to find another game to play until the end of the season.

I'm just simply stating that it should be two months instead of three since that would give everyone a fair chance to reform after riot's announcement. I know of a few people that were pretty much reformed and had literally 1-2 bad games OUT OF HUNDREDS of good games right before the notice and now lost their rewards. I'm included in that group. I was on a pretty good role of staying positive even when faced with toxicity, but ranked can get stressful. What lost me my rewards was a game where a player that obviously received a boost in the previous season was just trolling in ranked and talking trash to team mates because he knew he was playing above his skill level and didn't care to try any more. The player had Master borders and a terrible winrate and a match history that backs up my assumption. Climbing in diamond can be stressful enough as it is, throw in someone that single handedly ruins the game and tempers will flare. My whole team went AFK, I still played, they get rewards, I don't because I decided to stay and hope people would start trying again instead of just leaving the game like the rest of them with having to interact with 1 of the most toxic players I've ever met.

I admitted to having a bad game, not being toxic, big difference between the two. I don't go out and look to pick fights in my games, but I do have a habit of responding to people that trash talk me, this used to be considered having a spine. I didn't blame the mute system on it, I blamed the fact that players that have been around for a long time will obviously have more reports than new players.

If I wasn't toxic I wouldn't take offense? So people that don't agree with you are toxic? Sound logic.
