I'm kind of over people blaming bot lane for their bullshit

As someone that has spent almost all his time in this game in the bot lane, even now, I've had too many games decided by the moronic actions or blatant feeding of others that AREN'T in my lane for all this bellyaching about bot lane to really hold merit.

Like, I have a solid idea where it comes from: When a loss is your fault, you guys try to shrug it off or downplay it as "Sometimes I fuck it up. I get that." However, when it's time for your bot lane to mess up, THEN it's "Man my bot lane decides EVERY GAME."

I get that bot lane can fuck your lp up. What people don't realize is that sometimes it's not bot lane...but it's the jg. Or the top lane. Or the mid lane. Hell, sometimes it's them themselves, whichever position they play. This is still a 5 man game. Just because you aren't the adc at 30 minutes doesn't mean you aren't doing your part to win games. Just yesterday I lost a game because my jungler was a moronic tool that'd engage fights without my full team being there even when I actively told him REPEATEDLY to wait for us since we win team fights, only for the last game of the day to be won by our jungler who turned a fight around when we were on the back leg and clean aced the enemy, who still had 5 up, while our adc was dead (I wasn't so he had some back up).

Shit happens, but if you curl up and give up, people are gonna walk all over you on the Rift. Get some mental fortitude.

I'm not sure what your elo is, but in Plat and above 95 percent of games are decided by Bot lane

I don't see how. I clearly explained why I do. I have had plenty of my games ruined by players that weren't involved in their bot lanes. I'd know...cause I'm always in the bot lane.

Doesn't mean I haven't had games where my adc was an ass hat, but that doesn't mean I blame it on bot lane every game.

I see your point and I get "Every" game isn't bot lanes fault but right now in this meta bot lane decides the game. Even if you go just 0-1 in lane and other bot lane gets first tower blood you are losing the game most likely. They are now going top and mid and getting mroe objectives and towers while you are still in lane trying to cs back up. It is too important right now and even if you didn't feed bot lane still controls most games

No, you don't get my point. The point is that anyone can win or lose a game. Just because you aren't the guy with the flashy shit going on at 30 minutes doesn't mean you aren't influential in winning the game or throwing it. Bot lane losing first tower or losing out on a kill once doesn't mean as much as you make it seem...like...in the slightest.

62% botlane fault 10% toplane fault 14% midlane / jng fault

I've had plenty of games where my bot lane has fed and we've carried through other means. I've had games where 3/5 of my team has fed EXCEPT bot lane and we lose despite them being massively ahead.

It's just easier to blame "this bot lane meta" than it is to accept "fuck I sucked this game" for a lot of people. Sure, you'll have people like Dyrus/qtpie who've got their games decided by bot lanes, but there's very fuckin few of us up there in that elo or with the same problems.

Botlane has too much game impact at the moment.

Look at it this way: -On average 1 to 3 or 10 people in the game are idiots -If one of the 2 botlaners is an idiot, the other one will be dragged to feeding with them -If bot looses because of 1 idiot, you don't have 40% of your team -Then you're fucked

This is why Bot should only have 30% of the teams power budget and solo lanes should be made stronger. Junglers should also farm more and gank less.

That way, no matter where the idiot gets stuck, you can still win the game.

That literally will never change. Wherever the support goes, the exact same thing happens for that lane. Supports ALWAYS go bot, regardless of what class they support in that lane. Thus, what are you guys even whining about? Something that was and always will be? This is basically akin to complaining about the sheer amount of Fabreeze you wasted trying to freshen up your local compost site.

This is why Bot should only have 30% of the teams power budget and solo lanes should be made stronger.

That doesn't even make sense in a freaking 5v5 game...

Junglers should also farm more and gank less.

So you want people to carry entire games by farming and showing up 2 levels higher than you, ramming up your tail pipe while you contemplate what the hell you could have done about it? Cause that's what happened A LOT when we had Sated Devourer. It was NOT fun. Besides, junglers already have been encouraged to farm more by reducing catch-up exp.

That way, no matter where the idiot gets stuck, you can still win the game.

Except Support items weren't as strong a couple of seasons ago. Hell, % Heal and Shield power didn't even exist until recently.

And an unbalanced map makes no sense in a strategy game. But sure, if you like empathizing teamwork over strategy....

Than problem was fixed by introducing Bloodrazor instead of Devourer. Season 7 changes broke the Jungle, and Season 8 removal of resist runes escalated the issue.

Sure it does, it encourages more selfish playstyles and relying on others less. That way you can still solo carry if you have an idiot on your team.
