I cant get a gank to save my life...I am a passive laner. I dont push ever unless I cleary have the edge. I make my lane a JGs wet dream. BUT NO ONE FUCKING GANKS. Am I playing wrong? is there something im not picking up on? I fucking hate this game
DunkinNoobs9 votesOverly passive laning makes your lane ungankable too since the enemy laner is always full health and always has all their CD's up. Not to mention that any sudden aggression by you is an instant giveaway of a gank since you've been playing like a bitch up to that point.
Theorchero3 votesDon't expect anything. Be able to win lane without jungler intervention. It can be hard, but if their jungle is camping you're better off just not trading and playing safe.
If you make your lane suitable for a gank and it's viable (due to enemy over extending or strong ganking synergy between you and your jungler) don't hesitate to ping. A lot of junglers lack the confidence or wisdom of when and where to gank, help 'em out.
Jeanne fan club2 votesMaybe don't expect someone else to win your lane for you. Also it depends on who your jg picks and who you pick. Also jg's typically don't gank top much under certain circumstances, but I don't know if you play top or not, you really didn't give enough context here.

My lane was constantly frozen just outside of my tower, and I even told my jungler that ganking my lane was basically a free kill because I was leona. In the like 15 games I players her top, I can count the number of ganks I got on 1 hand. I don't get it either, man.

the only real buff was the added effect to her ult, and .25 second longer stun on E. The ult buff is great and all, but she wasn't "insanely" buffed by any stretch.

If you build a single support item with AP, or even abyssal as a tank (it offers one of the higher MR values in the game, actually), you are doing far, far, far more damage, not to mention likely reducing their entire team's MR for your AP carry. Her bases were barely tapped.
She does more damage to the point where sunfire, abyssal, IBG lets you 100-0 carries and keep them locked down 24/7 so they can hardly even participate. You actually have to be peeled, rather than hoping your team can follow up on your R->E->Q before either you or your W (consequently, you) drop and waiting around for 6 seconds even if you don't.

Umm what? Unless riot decided to adjust ap ratios without saying anything, that didn't happen. The only new ratio was 15% on basic attacks from incandescence.

or this "great gank opportunity" he is seeing is bs. I have a hard time siding with lane players because a lot of players who don't jungle become really delusional when it comes to jungling. And to someone maining jungle it gets really annoying fast.
This of course is not everyone, but like 70-80% of the population just needs to chill the f out when it comes to critiquing junglers. Over half the player population just assumes junglers are going to be in their lane all the time ready for free kills and forget junglers have to farm too. I know this goes both ways and your junglers could just be missing plays. But from a low elo jungle main who has played with the average LoL player for a long time its equally you and not just your jungler that is the problem.

LatetotheRace1 votesJungle clears take a lot out of most champions atm. If they can gank after their first rotation, they'll likely go for the bot/mid that's wide open. As a Top main, I know oh too well that ganking top is typically a waste of time. I'd much rather have a fed bottom or mid laner than a fed me. This quite honestly should be the mentality that most top laners have, but it sadly isn't.

l Dárius l1 votesI am bronze and i try to spam darius every game. That meams i normally just win lane. I learned the thing about maining darius and being bronze is 1. You dont normally need a gank, and 2. You probably wont get one. So whst i basically do, since no one is ganking, is ward the hell out of river, tri bush, and the bush right next to lane, and shove out the lane and deny cs until i get really fed and or get first turret then i leave top and only come to make sure i dont lose any towers

Swiftstrike41 votesI go into games and don't expect ganks. Lower elo players expect ganks because they have difficulty laning when behind and they also value you kills over CS. They also stay in laning phase FOREVER it seems. When I play with people in Silver or Bronze laning phase goes on for 20+ minutes hence people ask for ganks more often.
I don't see it as the jungler's job to gank a lane. Their job is to create map pressure which can be many different things.
I play top and I don't mind ganks, but most lower elo junglers come when a huge wave is crashing into my tower. I miss a lot of CS for a kill or an assist, which is not worth the sacrifice of the CS.

I mainly play ADC/Support and I don't expect my jungler to gank my lane, but when my enemy Jhin and Nami are at 200 health from our last engage and staying, why isn't my full health Jarvan jungler who's taking stuff on bot side not coming? Yeah, we might be low too, but that's not an excuse since he should be able to blow up one of them quickly and probably CC the other in the process.
ItsOrval1 votesLegit had a game 3 games ago, have my lane froze at my tower farming easily against a simple Ali top. Then i see a Jarvan ult me, I die, jungler sitting at blue doesnt defend my tower. I shrug it off, go back top, place a ward in brush river as usual (On Blue Side Nexus). Farming cs under tower again, Ali pushing all the ways to my tower for cs, no jungler, i ping for gank, no jungler. Then Ali flashes to me, knocks me up, hits me to the fucking Brand support that is top side for some reason, I die, nobody pinged mia bot. I shrug it off. After that it was just constant ganks top from jarvan. Then, after getting ganked 6 times and killed 6 times under the tower, guess what happened. Vayne, J4, Ali, Brand are all top side, I die, I lose tower, no mia, no team nearby. Now im pissed. Died 7 times under the flipping tower, could not ward anything beens J4 would just destroy them instantly.
Conclusion is, is i got 0 ganks. Had Ali pushing all lane and I still died under tower. I still ended up getting 2 triple kills and ending the game going like 9/7/10 i think. We won, but it was the most annoying game ive played.

-Outplay for a double -Outplay for a escape -Die and hope they aren't camping
Step three, if you die repeat step one step four, if you die again QUIT repeating step one
