Im being punished for teaching my friend how to play league

Im a low gold/high silver skill level, not the best, but also can hold my own in every lane other than mid. My friend got into league of legends, and wanted to learn how to ADC, so I decided to help him not knowing that it would send me on this tailspin of a fuckfest back into bronze mmr in my normal games. Naturally like all of us, he played terribly when he first started out, and we lost a lot. but it was whatever, he is learning, so no big deal, PLUS its norms.

Losing all that while he was learning KILLED my MMR when it comes to normals, and now im stuck in this god damn tailspin of being stuck in bronze. Bronze is just a deathmatch. Unnecessary fights, no communication, and the idea of vision is actually laughable. My play style isnt suited for the hack and slash all ins that bronze has too. I like to safely farm up, then pick the fights, so I dont like to take on the "carry" role right away. Now im just stuck playing these games.
