Another rework that will make me totally abandon a beloved favourite....

Gangplank, Sion, Galio, Warwick, Yorick, and now Aatrox: almost every character I enjoyed as a straightforward playstyle that didn’t make me feel bad about my methodical champ playstyle has been reworked to where I don’t recognize them OR they have something akin to a personal mini-game built into their kits that dictates how effective they are. True, Aatrox is actually the LEAST impacted in this regard and makes him more consistent but I still find this trend troubling.

Is Udyr going to be next? What about Mundo? Perhaps Quinn? I was EXCITED to hear about Aatrox getting an update but you have thoroughly annihilated any hopes I had for him. I figured he’d be augmenting his autos in more creative ways than just the lifesteal vs more damage he has now and be more focused on said autos instead of being primarily ability-combo-oriented.

I like the mobility whilst reviving thing but at the cost of being treated like a weaker Zilean ult (wait for it to time out instead of immediately killing him)? Not sure I’m a fan of that.

So, to echo the thoughts of others, we have another Riven with an AoE Kled hook that can cast a poor man’s Zilean ult. I’ll admit it’s nothing like playing a barrel game with GP or something absurd but I know I’m going to play a handful of games, be incredibly frustrated, and just go to yet another champion to await THEIR botched rework.
