I know you have some patented matchmaking system that says I have to lose 7-15 games in a row every once in a while, but can you at the very least do the the honor of matching me against people close to my rank instead of, oh I don't know, a fucking Gold3?
agbudar2 votesexactly the system should not have to make you play against higher ranked people. if the system decides you are worthy of playing against a gold 3 your rank should be gold 3 and vica versa. 50% winrate will be achieved regardless because once you are up against people you struggle against your winrate will drop anyways.

It ain't patented as the 50% win/loss rate appears in other mobas too such as Heroes of the Storm (not sure about DoTa or the other one). There is obviously some monetary reason they are doing this as there is no logical reason to lose or win simply because the system wants you back at 50%.
