I would actually accept dynamic queue and 5.0 Kog'Maw over this tbh. I have been through S2-3-4-5-6 but so far this is my least favorite. It honestly feels like the tank era again, except with more early ganks and less Mundo.

I feel like the meta is basically tanks can invalidate an ADCs damage way to easily with just 4k gold if your not vayne or caitlyn or twitch which all have high damage abilities or steroids to deal with tanks your not worth picking bot and if you don't have mobility to escape or utility you get 1 shotted by tanks/bruisers/mages/assassins early on due to chain cc or just an enormous quantity of slows as a marksmen or support. Leading to the meta of just basically whoever can deal the most damage to tanks well being safe for the ADC role.

For top lane its whatever tank has the highest base damage + tankiness and best utility.

For jungle its just whomever is the most mobile+ highest damage bruiser jungler

For mid its just whoever has the easiest 1 shot burst+ waveclear

For Support its basically who has the best utility to protect the ADC from all other lanes

Yeah, basically. The only thing I feel I can add is how useless it feels to play many champions since it just feels like you get shut down so hard by the fotm that you can't do anything.

"[current season] is the worst and I'd prefer [previous season]" has been said every season since S2.

S7, so far, has more class diversity since forever. Even the outliers like Lee and Cait aren't nearly as polarizing as prior season's problem children.

There's some good things about this season, such as plants, but it really feels like this is a step back into tank meta rather than advancing the game.
