Why is it that Aatrox's rework is so divided among the fans? Everyone complaining it's riven two, it's unoriginal, it sucks, old Aatrox is better, like come on have you seen some of this? current Aatrox has one of the lowest play rates period, you have 2 abilities cuz his e isn't even worth mentioning his w is a passive, he's completely auto attack focused and the real gameplay he has is his q, while praying he can get enough in his pool to revive, REALLY TIGHT GAMEPLAY THERE!! oh! lets talk about his personality...it's the dark mysterious guy that your edge lord friend makes in dnd that mostly sits in the corner and broods...such depth truly a inspiration, even reaper is saying "show some fucking emotion, be angry, sad, anything!". look yeah new aatrox isn't original but not everything is league is original, urgots new dash is a direct rip of diablo from hots move, morgana and lux have extremely similar kits q bind w pool e sheild, and thresh and blitz got a few similar things too, this is just another mash of similar abilities, its not like we haven't seen that before and this won't be the last time either. if the community is going to be this upset over a champion that no one cared about until now what'll happen when they touch the other outdated champs like nunu and they don't be 100% original?

This happens every rework, literally every rework the "mains" of the champion come out of the woodwork to complain, there is some ground to it though, they want their old stuff to remain intact in someway, even though it didn't work.

It's reworks like Aatrox that make me glad that Taric's was pretty much entirely on point.

because its not actually a rework. Its a new champion who has a revive and stole his name.

Why do you call Boris by such weird name?

Is it so much to ask to actually have the things that made that champ my champ? I don't care about his pick rate, that wasn't why I played him. I played him because I knew how he worked, how he functioned. A reliable pick because I know what I'm capable of and how it can benefit my team. Sure, he needs some work but come on, there are just some things that they shouldn't have touched. I'm not saying that I don't like that they showed him some love, but it's like if you spent so much time and dedication into learning something then suddenly having all of it changed. Years of suggestions and notes from people who actually enjoyed the champ for itself and not because it was "meta" but genuine enjoyment. All that information on how to make the champ better to suit more peoples needs while also appeasing the mains. All of it just thrown under the rug and ignored. Is it really so bad to feel betrayed, salty, and grieve a bit?
