For those who haven't heard, Jaredan said they're testing things to see if the platform will now work, so they can properly add in the extended lore for champions.

They will be testing it with Azir and Xerath. Seems like they just did Azir. Since they are testing, they're using the lore they already shown us, so spoilers don't happen until things get to being regularly updated.

This is a sign that things are being done. You can't expect it all to come out at once in full blast.

Poor Skarner and Ezreal and Rammus . They have not had their lores updated for 308 days. If it makes me a naysayer for disagreeing with you, then I will. I simply want their lores to extend beyond the summary they had gotten in the Shurima event. The full length of their lore is stashed away because of "technical difficulties."

yes it does you dont seem to understand that this means there going to update the lore for them as well as nasus renekton xerath kalista and everyone else with the lame short lore it will take time but it will happen and the fact that you dont take this as a sign that riots finally fixed the error will update the lore is just proof that you dont have faith in them

You do realise that piece is nine months old, right?

They also don't appear to have added the short stories for Xerath or Kalista despite them being publicly available.

you do realize that that this peice is 9 months old so you would have to dig through 9 months of forum posts to find it right?

and they will post them eventually why cant you people be glad that were starting to get lore back in a place that we can just click on yes id love the lore on the client back to, but this is what there doing and its a rather or situation. would you rather just have a paragraph for easy access and if you want extended lore search through thousands of forum posts or would you rather get that lore in a easy place where they do give more detail on the champs relationships that tie into their lore

Actually finding it was simply a matter of going to the unofficial wiki, a place which has proven a far better source of gameplay and lore information than anything Riot has offered for quite some time. I think the issue here, and I apologise for this mistake, is that I misconstrued you as believing this to be new content rather than something which has been around for quite some time. That was the reason I sought out the original source to find the date it was posted.

It's certainly good to see the signs of progress but I'm going to be reserving any real judgement until we see whatever new vehicle they have to reveal to us.

oh im aware this is old lore and i can understand why you want to be reserved but anything showing some form of progress even if its something reused is nothing short of a god send even if its reused. As for the wiki trust me if i have a question i go there but as someone who cracks open the lore and wants more they will probably go to the main pages before looking to the wiki. I can also see how you'd think i wouldn't be aware of this lore being on the forums its very understandable but its also proof of how riots been a bit on a down slope till now in terms of lore, but the entire reason why i made this post is to show people that riot isn't just slacking off in terms of lore and lets face it not alotta people will look at the champion pages on the website unless someone brings it up like kalistas teaser not alotta people caught until someone told them about it

Can a player read that lore without having to manually open his internet browser, go to the official web-site, look up Azir's profile and then scroll down? Will the average player, who just purchased Azir, have any knowledge that theres more lore for the champion, especially when every other character with similar sized lore has nothing on the main web-site?

This is the biggest accomplishment the Lore team has done in a long time, but on the grand scale of things, it is meh.

hey bring that up with riot this was there plan since the retcon im just glad i dont have to go through months and months of post from people who love talking about how bad riot is to read the lore they have for him and the rest of the paragraph client lore champs that will come later
