I tried to make a post explaining why Ahri doesn't deserve all the hate and QQ that was created over the last 2 days... well I tried, the Ahri hate train is too stronk. I feel really bad for Riot TBH. If I saw that the community I helped create are waiting to jump on the next Hate train to QQ-vile every chance they get I would be extremely disappointed. :\

Same, i made a post about riven not being as broken as everyone thinks if you just play against her properly, the riven hate train came in and i get so many dislikes it was unreal.

I still don't understand why people think that riven is op. She takes a LOT of skill and practice to pull off properly and all the damage she does is AD. It really isn't that hard to buy armor now is it? A Riven snowballing isn't the result of her being OP, its the result of mistakes the opposing laner makes, and the skill of the Riven. That is the way it works for other laners too, like Ahri. If you die to them in lane, its your fault for being outplayed, or for not capitalizing on their weaknesses. You made a lot of good points in your post by the way, it sure is a shame that most of the people who commented stopped reading past the title. ;-; R.I.P. the reasoning of the human race.

I sure wish that people on the boards actually took into consideration that the person making the post knows more about the champion than they do. I think that the way to go with these lunatics is to just ignore them and hope that RIOT doesn't take those feces slinging neanderthals seriously. As the game is right now, no solo lane champions desperately need a nerf. Some champs like kassadin do need some buffs though. I have been seeing a lot of diversity in champion picks lately and I really do like that some sort of common ground has been found in the solo lanes. I can't really speak for the other positions sadly, I am not good at ADC and the only 2 supports I play are Shen and Sona.

Literally "animation cancelling and spell weaving" can be learned by watching youtube vids and learned in 10 mins. It ain't hard. "It really isn't hard to buy armor" By the time you get armor it'll be in the lategame. If you are top, the riven will be ahead enough to deny you farm and gold, and you'll be too behind to get armor. and that's with ONE KILL. Not really your fault at all. And you can't get armor on some champs like Teemo, because wtf kinda armor item do you get for teemo. With the upcoming armor nerfs, it'll take even LONGER to get armor items, and those armor items will suck D. Also, riven gets Black cleaver really soon, so yeah, bye bye to armor. If she's ahead enough, she'll throw in last whisper, because wtf not. Yes, Talon gets those items and a youmuus too, but he doesn't have a shit ton of mobility and cc.

Erm... Excuse me? I don't downvote people. what you said is very hypocritical actually. I am not even a Riven main, the only top laners I play are vlad and shen. I'm pretty sure that almost every tank that builds an armor Item first can counter riven. Why would you wait until the late game to buy armor vs a riven? I think the problem here is that you don't know how to play against her, or how to build against her. If you get counter picked by a Riven in ranked, well that's your fault for picking X champion.

Don't complain about champions being OP because you don't know how to exploit their weaknesses. You have done nothing but proven my point. I have never had a problem playing against a Riven before, and when I've died to her it isn't because she is op, its because I've made a mistake that she can capitalize on.

You need to just accept that every champion has counterplay, and that assassin like mobile champions like Riven have an easier time exploiting mistakes than other champions. Also, please calm down, I didn't know sharing my opinion would inspire a keyboard warrior from the depths of the community to raise arms and fight to cleanse all of the unholy riven mains on these boards. I'm not even a riven main, you flipped out for no reason.

See, rushing armor does absolute jckshit vs riven unless you are playing Dar, REnek or Garen. I main Darius, and I have 0 issues with riven. She literally cant win vs darius. I think the problem here is Riven is a cheap champ.

Don't complain that a champ isn't Op because you can't get off your high horse. You've done nothing but prove my point. I never had a issue with her except when I paly a champ that doesn't completley counter her.

YOu need to just accept every champ except riven has counter play, and an assassin, bruiser, tanky, mobile, manaless spamming rivn have an easier time exploiting any single champ, bullying them into oblivion, and denying all the gold. Also, please calm down, I did not know sharing my opinion would inspire a riven fanboy from the drudges of society to raise arms and cleanse all the regular players who know riven is a little too strong. I don't even have a hard time dealing with riv, but what I've seen from other rivens(having a riven on my team, or having an enemy riven beating our team's top laner) is that she's pretty damn good. Nah, you are just saying that cuz you main ahri. Highest winrate and pickrate provides a real problem. In your post and your comments ont he post, all the riven "qq'ers" (cry more ahri fanboy XD) provide statistics and numbers (mostly, there are still some legit ragers) and you do not. It's like when darius was first released, and the initial darius fanboys were like DARIUS IS BALANCED AKGNDLKGNSLFNHF and the "Qqers" tried to explain why his original kit was OP, but the initial onrelease darius fanboys just kept being stubborn. It makes me sad when people comment on here with a concept that may, at it's heart, be valid and worth saying, but they seem to think that the best/only way to get their point across is by saying the most vile, mean things they can about Riot's employees and art. (Some of the comments on Fiora's splash made me want to hug the artist and tell them it'd all be okay.) I don't get it. Why can't people be civil?

Indeed. I used to question why Riot's official comments on stuff were written the way they were; sounding like they were listening to everyone's input to help guide some of their choices when the choices Riot made seemed to go somewhat strongly against what little I'd heard people in the community talk about, but after seeing more of the boards/league community "feedback/input," Rito just can't win. So much of it is just salt induced rage posting.

Keep up the good fight Riot, do your best! Thanks for supporting this crazy game and ragey fan base for so long

I think a large minority players treat these boards as their punching bags. It's where everyone can see their supposed emotions, rather than in a game where you can't post 1000 hate speech on why Riot sucks - which they don't. They're pretty awesome when you come to appreciate what they do for their players.

Still can't believe they'd give out Captain Gangplank for free.

I can agree with you here, I see way too much salt thats upvoted on a constant basis, I think Rito should just start deleting threads that are pointless complaints rather than suggestions on champions, theres toooooo many.

The worst part is when you try to do something or say something back and because everyone on those threads usually has the same opinion and they're just stuck to it like glue you get downvoted as if you said something offensive.

I've been a fan of Lost Saga but I left after it was removed from Ogplanet, now that its on steam i've been playing it frequently and my great googly mooglies, its fucking terrible

The game is great, the characters are diverse and shit (Alice = Kick) but the community, MY GOD, THE COMMUNITY If you thought toxic Vayne adcs on your team going "GG ff at 20" was bad, you should see some of these people

Theres a [YELL] feature which is practically [ALL] chat, and I see so many people starting flame wars after one person puts something like "Hey Everyone!" seriously, just for saying Hey Everyone or some generic hello. Then they fight it out until one of them runs out of Megaphones and the other plays it cool like "Lol, he deserved to be flamed for being nice"

One time I was playing Challenge Mode against bots and I left the room open, and this guy joins and we have a fair 1v1, and after he loses he says "Wow spamming noob, lol stupid" while through the fights I knew I backed up and gave him advantages.

Hell, you see "Wow" "Noob" and "Fuck you" so commonly that I rather playing a bronze ranked game then deal with whatever this is, THIS HAPPENS 90% of THE GAMES I PLAY IN.

Rito has it real good for right now.

the post is about people yelling at riot and belittling all the hard work and love they put in the game. in game ya I've numbed myself to people telling me i suck i'm a noob and i should kill myself (ironically 60% of those were supports saying that isnt that to nutty), i have all but stopped hitting enter or shift enter unless i feel i gotta step in and say something but i end up seeing waaayyy to many posts saying "riots stupid for doing x thing". when its really either the start (like the lore retconn) or the middle (the new hud) or the end result (what almost everyone's saying about the darius garen skarner and mord updates)

people rush to the boards and say "wow rito wtf your so fuckin stupid gah!" and we rarely see post of people just saying thanks riot for working hard and making a awsome game keep being super. ya they sorta have a kinda easy time but they do check here to help clarify something or have a touch of fun and when a full page is basically "your fucking stupid heres why i and like 50 other people say so cuz this is a hate post and these like minded people are down voteing the defenders and upvoteing the fuck you cuz fuck you riot you made this game feel bad!" i just hope even in silence they can see my post and atleast feel sorta better

On a side note, complaints about Ahri and Riven, and previously Ekko, ZEd, kassadin, Yas, and Dar were legit, and they all got nerfed. So those two should be next in line(wait until after the LCS).

The stupid thing is when people complain about the new HUD's text being too small, and after riot updates the HUD, they complain that the text is too big.The new HUD is fine. and seriously, "OMG FIORA's HAIR". One of the most stupidest trending things ever. Her splash is fine, and I don't think it would matter that much, unless you are a creeper who uses her splash for... other things.
