I tried to make a post explaining why Ahri doesn't deserve all the hate and QQ that was created over the last 2 days... well I tried, the Ahri hate train is too stronk. I feel really bad for Riot TBH. If I saw that the community I helped create are waiting to jump on the next Hate train to QQ-vile every chance they get I would be extremely disappointed. :\
It makes me sad when people comment on here with a concept that may, at it's heart, be valid and worth saying, but they seem to think that the best/only way to get their point across is by saying the most vile, mean things they can about Riot's employees and art. (Some of the comments on Fiora's splash made me want to hug the artist and tell them it'd all be okay.) I don't get it. Why can't people be civil?
Indeed. I used to question why Riot's official comments on stuff were written the way they were; sounding like they were listening to everyone's input to help guide some of their choices when the choices Riot made seemed to go somewhat strongly against what little I'd heard people in the community talk about, but after seeing more of the boards/league community "feedback/input," Rito just can't win. So much of it is just salt induced rage posting.
Keep up the good fight Riot, do your best! Thanks for supporting this crazy game and ragey fan base for so long
I think a large minority players treat these boards as their punching bags. It's where everyone can see their supposed emotions, rather than in a game where you can't post 1000 hate speech on why Riot sucks - which they don't. They're pretty awesome when you come to appreciate what they do for their players.
Still can't believe they'd give out Captain Gangplank for free.

I've been a fan of Lost Saga but I left after it was removed from Ogplanet, now that its on steam i've been playing it frequently and my great googly mooglies, its fucking terrible

The game is great, the characters are diverse and shit (Alice = Kick) but the community, MY GOD, THE COMMUNITY If you thought toxic Vayne adcs on your team going "GG ff at 20" was bad, you should see some of these people
Theres a [YELL] feature which is practically [ALL] chat, and I see so many people starting flame wars after one person puts something like "Hey Everyone!" seriously, just for saying Hey Everyone or some generic hello. Then they fight it out until one of them runs out of Megaphones and the other plays it cool like "Lol, he deserved to be flamed for being nice"
One time I was playing Challenge Mode against bots and I left the room open, and this guy joins and we have a fair 1v1, and after he loses he says "Wow spamming noob, lol stupid" while through the fights I knew I backed up and gave him advantages.
Hell, you see "Wow" "Noob" and "Fuck you" so commonly that I rather playing a bronze ranked game then deal with whatever this is, THIS HAPPENS 90% of THE GAMES I PLAY IN.
Rito has it real good for right now.
On a side note, complaints about Ahri and Riven, and previously Ekko, ZEd, kassadin, Yas, and Dar were legit, and they all got nerfed. So those two should be next in line(wait until after the LCS).
The stupid thing is when people complain about the new HUD's text being too small, and after riot updates the HUD, they complain that the text is too big.The new HUD is fine. and seriously, "OMG FIORA's HAIR". One of the most stupidest trending things ever. Her splash is fine, and I don't think it would matter that much, unless you are a creeper who uses her splash for... other things.
I generally wear a gas mask when reading the boards so I don't choke to death in the toxic environment.
