what's going to happen to her? warwick and her lore were so deeply intertwined it was almost like vi jinx and caitlyn, warwick was the reason why soraka became mortal and he needed her heart to retain his humanity, so with warwick being more heroic and savage with layers of depth instead of horror movie villain I can't help but wonder what her story will be
Well technically the new WW does not necessarily go against Sorakas lore,as WW says during the operation,that he isn't a monster anymore,meaning that there was seemingly a time when he did some horrible things.
In the end though,I think that Soraka might get a new lore with Warwick or will be stuck with her old lore until Ionia gets a lore update(wouldn't be the first time someone got stuck with the old warwick lore

Warwick being an asshole to Soraka is integral to her story. He was that one guy that really pushed her out of her comfort zone and made her see how evil humanity can really be.
Well, I don't think the lore has to be necessarily changed because of the rework or the trailer, because a trailer is just a trailer to promote the champ and excite the viewers. So they had to add a little gore and thrill to it since he is basically a wolf, and a wolf needs to hunt. Idk, if they intend on changing lores I'm pretty sure they'll consider the ones related to his lore aswell like as you mentioned, soraka.
Based on the current trend of LoL lore, I would not be surprised if the whole Warwick-Soraka relationship was completely retconned. In old lore we had many champions with no relevance at all like old Taric, Fiddle, etc. We also had really weird connections like Nasus being a space librarian, Kayle and Morgana being super important figures of a race war that nobody gives a fuck about, etc.
It also seems weird that a random Zaunite (of all people) would be in intimate contact with a celestial star-child healer, especially now since we have a new look at Zaunite culture. In old lore Soraka was directly responsible for WW's werewolf transformation, but now that's changed to Singed's doing. And he's not even a werewolf! He's a chimera with many different animals traits. So, Soraka doesn't really fit anywhere. Sure, you could say that WW needs her heart to revert his transformation, but as we know now WW actually LIKES being a manhunting beast. And thematically, celestial magic seems out of the question for Zaunites, with their purely scientific culture and all.
According to the Universe page, Soraka has some relation to Karthus, which has not been expanded on at all. I'm not saying I like or don't like this change, but I'm just telling you what I think is the most likely situation. Maybe Riot will find a way to bring Soraka back into this mess, but I think it'd have to be shoehorned in at this point.
One one side it seems pretty lame to see this connection completely erased, but on the other hand it was one of those relationships that never saw any kind of development outside of Soraka's own lore. She was literally only mentioned once in WW's lore as well, and it was in the very last sentence. I assure you WW-Soraka was nowhere near the level of Caitlyn-Vi (& Jinx), Zed-Shen, Viktor-Jayce, or Graves-TF.
