This game is still good though. It might not be as good as it was in season 4 and part of season 5, but that doesn't make it terrible. Of course games end too quickly right now and that's not good, but riot has done other things that are good. Rift herald, although still has people hating on it, makes top lane feel like they have more of an impact through that objective. The game also still feels fresh. With the new rune system, even though it has a lot of fixing to do and I don't like some parts of it (kleptomancy, sudden impact, etc.), it still feels new, impactful, and interesting. Back when I had regular thunderlord, it felt a little dull at times. Now, if I go comet, it feels like it did something and that I can play around. Of course, the system isn't perfect, but tbh a non-perfect system can help to keep the game fresh and interesting. It can help shake off the meta something nothing becomes stale.
Also, just going to say that the boards is not 100% of the community. Of course, many people come to these boards to share their thoughts, but a lot of other people prefer to play the game casually or competitively without going on them.
