The first one was a sarcastic joke, but it was pointing out the issue that his champ choice was heavily outclassed. You do you if you want to disregard tiers and metas, but don't act flabbergasted if it doesn't work out. Metas exist because they reflect what's tried and proven to be generally strong in a game.

Kaisa is Hot2 votesAs a somewhat Kalista main, shes in a really bad spot. I got to mastery 7 on her then just stopped playing her. 85% of the time unless you're duo, you ain't doing much with Kalista.
PS you're not bad. Ashe is just too good vs Kalista if she can land her arrow. I lose this matchup 65% of the time. Better off just beibg a meta slave and going Jhin, Vayne. Vaynes tumble is on demand so it's easier to dodge ashe arrow. Its easy for ashe to land an arrow on you cause Kalista has an AA windup so right after her dash you have a 0.5sec window to fuck her.

420 grams1 votesI think you under rate exhaust way too much. 40% damage reduction is a ton, PLUS the attack speed reduction is especially potent on Kalista. Your damage output drops to like 42% (only putting out 60% damage with 70% of normal attack speed). I'm not sure if ignite damage stacks when two are used at the same time, but it definitely doesn't do enough to be used over exhaust for that match up. Change your rune page name to replay.gg so we can watch your games and tell you more what you could improve on, instead of just saying you're bad.

Also, depending on which of you picked your champs first, the other isn't great at champ select. Kalista's power is locked in attacking the same champ her support is. Since Leona is melee, you lose a lot of power until she all ins.
