So why do things like Voidlings and Zyra Plants not generate graves for Yorick?

They don't count for his passive and killing them with his Q wont spawn a grave either. I dont know if this is intended or if its a bug but I hope this gets changed to let yorick be able to spawn his graves from these kinds of units, even if he can only get graves from them by using his Q

It's most likely not a bug; it's probably more along the lines of an oversight by the programmers in what his passive interacts with.
