seriously people complaining about veiger when champs like garen and anivia have .75 SEC CAST TIMES ON THERE AUTO ATTACKS. not to mention garens ult. it takes so long to cast that the other day i was playing against an irelia and before i killed her with my ult she had enough time to type "wp" in all chat before she actually died

tell you what garen will trade veiger his ultimate for veigers E. that way garen wont have a 45 min cooldown on a lesser version of darius ult

for those who are dumb this is ment to ber satirical

The difference is that Veigar already had a .5 second cast time. It was a .75 second delay that was added on. At least Garen's ult has to hit to go on cooldown.

lol, Garen's ultimate is targeted and unavoidable (once targeted), so it can have 10 seconds delay if it wants, you still secured the kill the moment you pressed R.

this is completely false. champs with dashes like zed for example can shadow away from it when targeted and can even sometimes put it on cooldown (possibly a bug but has happened to me multiple times). simply running into a bush can cancel a garen ult after it is targeted as well. do you play garen or are you just stating what you think of a champ you dont even know?

The bush canceling has been fixed for a while now, and in order to outrun his ult you have to have a dash longer than Flash's range. I don't know the exact number, but from my experience it's about 1.5x the range of Flash.

EDIT: If you're a fast champion you can run the extra .5 of course, but not every champion can do that within the cast time.

This is actually not true, ive hit R only for them to flash away and me not ult them. The flip side is ive also had people try to flash only to be ulted and die still lol. The point is what you said is false.

Garen's ult couldn't be buffed before DFG was taken out because it could already kill someone at 50% health. Now that DFG is gone we Garen players are dealing with the "He's supposed to be a simple beginner champ" nonsense.

Garen is honestly in a good spot right now, and overall doesn't need a buff to his kit to do well. That said Riot refuses to use this as an argument, and instead tells us our preferred champion is supposed to be weak. I'm just sick of champion discrimination by Riot, all champions deserve to be treated equally.

I think Garen's ult is old and out-dated by current standards when compared to an ult like Rivens, or Nidalees execute which does a crap ton more damage then Garens. All i ask is a CD reduction because its absurdly long, and maybe if its not too much maybe a slight range increase so they cant run around a turret and be out of range.

Nah Darius uses mana so he cant always just spam R. Garen has no mana this would be OP as shit on him. It doesnt need that much work just some small tweaks to bring it up to todays standards

Garen's ult is pretty damn op the way it is, my only complaint is that it does magic damage. Players can abuse it by getting magic penetration and stuff like that for players who get MR but it really should be doing true damage like Darius's ult.
