Revert The Nautilus Change

You have nerfed everything about this champion. His E damage, his ult damage, his W damage. Now his W is so dog shit, it not only doesn't last long enough for him to clear a wave, but it pops 3 seconds into using it. His W is an AWFUL ability, and what's worse is that is supposed to be THE ability that makes him the super tank that he is, not discounting his CC centric nature, which might as well not even be unique to him anymore, since every champ in their mother has a god ton of either cc or a shield.

I'm glad they at least gave him a buff last patch and that his rework design lets him lane

But the buff should seriously last through shield, champ is slower than molasses and him whacking you a bunch of times with it for dps is actually difficult. You need like 2-4 hits for the damage to be worth it and you're most likely to get 1-2 with most trades. If it was the S2 version where it was a super shield keeping the buff tied to shield makes sense. As is they might as well make it a fixed duration so you can use it through burst.

I am actually gonna give him a shot after the recent buffs to tanks all around. I think in the Jungle with Legend: Alacrity, hes gonna be a beast mid-late game, and his clear was really good before all of this. I actually believe this is a pre-emptive nerf to something that might be a problem. But of course I wanna see how buffed Overgrowth works in reference to his W scaling and his overall ability to just stay alive first before making assumptions.

I would say that Naut is in a fine position in a lot of matchups in top lane, using E to clear waves/trade when they go for cs. He has the best gank assist in the game IF your jungler decides to grace your lane with a gank. (A gank which is a free kill for them 90% of the time because of how much gank assist Naut posses.)

The most recent buffs were pretty nice for him, and IMO Naut is fine in the right hands, but not strong enough to be an outright blind pick.

But I OP.gg doesnt even list him as a top laner, so you can really see what most people think of him

They need more quality buffs for a lot of champions in the dirt right now (Looking at you trundle). And naut is one of them. Fully support this.
