Zed and Yasuo

I don't think they're broken, frustrating to fight yes but not broken.

My complaint here is that they are just, so common on midlane. I maybe fight someone on midlane who isn't yasuo or zed 10% of the time, and even then I only ever get to fight mages like 1% of the time, even after the Mage Update I always seem to be fighting these two.

I feel the reason for this is their flexibility of their mobility. Yasuo more than Zed, but zed still has this. Yasuo is able to dash around to dodge any non point and click ability, and even then he can get rid of projectiles and on top of that he gets a free shield. His amount of defenses while still having incredibly strong damage makes him a very good go to pick in solo que where you don't have to rely on allies. And even then if you do rely on allies his kit is still incredibly strong. Not OP, but still strong.

Zed has similar abilities where he can run in, and spam his abilities and then teleport to his safest shadow (if he has more than one out) if he ever gets into trouble. Along with this his poke is pretty strong and he doesn't require mana conservation and thus can stay in lane indefinitely.

Again I am not complaining about how powerful they are, but I am saying that maybe they could use some changes to not completely dominate the mid lane meta outside of competitive and high elo play. Simply so it doesn't feel like Yasuo and Zed are the only midlaners you have to go against and that fighting anyone else feels like some kind of special event.

(One of my ideas is make it so Yasuo can build up his flow bar faster, but he can only cast Wind Wall with a full flow bar and that it consumes the entire flow bar for casting wind wall.)

They are picked because they are fun

Literally its because, as its been said its fun. They are also very rewarding when played good. If you have never played yasuo or zed then you wouldnt understand. Though I feel they are very different in what they do. Zed feels like a true assassin, in that hes very mobile and can destroy a single target with ease. Yasuo I feel is obviously more team fight oriented to zed, whose team fights are much more difficult to play. Try playing yasuo against a malzahar and see how un-fun that is.

They dont dominate the mid lane meta anywhere. They are picked for the sole factor of being fun and flashy. Mages are dominating hard in every elo, especially in high elo.
