What Role to Play in Solo Queue

From AD Carrys / Mid Laners / Top Laners / Junglers perspectives what would you think the best roll to carry or climb in Solo Queue is if practiced properly and dedicated to? Things like pros or cons are appreciated and feel free to give feedback on all roles not just your main!

Support and Jungle are the two most impacting roles. Play Jungle if you feel like getting flamed all game for things out of your control. Play Support if you want to end your life because everyone just does whatever they want while you desperately try to hold the game together.

I would say Jungle and mid because of their ability to influence more of the map. For Jungle this is obvious in the ability to collapse and create numbers advantages for your team as well as scuttle dragon and rift control and being able to put down vision and keep tabs on the enemy jg for your laners.

For mid there are counterpicks and riskier picks but there are also a lot of safe picks, short lane makes it easier to get back to turret and escape ganks, and mid is closer to be able to roam and support JG in the river. It can be tougher though because usually the folks who Q mid are more confident in lane and it can be tough to push and roam etc against them.

And i'd say 3rd is top, land of skill matchups and split pushing, It could be argued top is the most fun role right now because of the large variety of champs you can see there, you got tanks, juggernauts, bruisers, squishier carry champs and even mages, you can win by joining teamfights, or smartly split pushing and drawing pressure to let your team get stuff done elsewhere on the map. Top has many champs that can potentially 1v2 and have big teamfight impact, but its location off to the side means that you can only join skirmishes ~ half as much as a midlaner and 1/3 as much as the jungler.

Botlane IMO is the worst role for carrying largely because of the champ pool and the current high damage meta, in any given game these days there are likely to be 1-2 champs (sometimes more) that can kill the adc in 1 rotation of abilities, many times with in kit ways to dive onto the adc, and its hard to make a big impact when you can get deleted from a fight that quickely.
