Need recomendations for Lanes and Champions

Hey, i'm a gold mid lane main and not having any good luck in solo queue often tilting myself and getting frustrated i'm coming back off a break and have decided to learn the game over anew i'm currently looking for champions i could main to carry solo queue and maybe even OTP i'm generally up for any role besides support and would preferably like something that can snowball easily and can have high consistency if played correctly and isn't an insta-ban in our 10 ban pick systems

Past Champions i've played: Yasuo Ahri Zed Fiora Gangplank Jayce

Any help or suggestions would be fantastic or even just sell me your champion to learn and maybe OTP!
