Keep in mind he will only be op in lower elos with his new buff as before he is weak against every support tank and engage in mid lane and can be camped easily while if your team doesn't bunch up its ez game.

Support is harder to play against because he is the third damage carry making it hard for them to focus him but same principle to not bunch up and punish his low health early game

Maybe nerf it to 3% idc just some food for thought

I don't play in low elo right now since I'm in diamond for quite some time but I think brand is strong in low elo because of his ult, not his early game damage (although it is quite obnoxious to deal with). This might be too stereotypical of low elo and I don't want to insult anyone who is in that elo range but I believe people usually stick together too close when brand presses r. In high elo, as soon as he uses r, people spread out to make it lose effectiveness. In low elo, people will stand too close for it to take effect I think. Correct me if I'm wrong on that since I didn't play in low elo since a very long time.

Welp, I'm in low elo and people spread out as much as they can when brand uses ult. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the majority of brand's complaints directed towards his half a lane hit box w that he can cast out from a mile away? The damage is fine, it is compensated for his mana usage, but it is quite difficult to dodge and it encourages people to spam it. As soon as you go up to cs, BAM, you get hit. You go in to try to bait it out, BAM, you get it. You see the circle, you think you're out but the back of your heel or a strain of your hair is still in, BAM, you get hit. It's not even hard to land his abilities and all of them, except e, does hella damage. At least with veig's w, the hit box is smaller so it is easier to dodge it.

Merc boots aren't as effective as they used to be after they changed ap items (buffed mages). his stun might not last long but it's enough to get his last spell off.
