Things low elo players do that they don't even realize cost them games

Today we have a clip from a game that will hopefully teach lower level players how to use their brains a little more effectively in game so they can stop costing themselves wins. Players in lower elos tend not to even realize that many of the things they do are so mind numbingly braindead that they cost themselves matches just by doing these mind numbingly braindead things.

A little set up first:

After a smart roam into our red side jg to help our Lee with an invading Graves we secure a kill onto the Graves and steal away his blue buff. The first mistake was the Karma taking this kill at all when Graves was dead to rights with no flash and no way out of a 4v1 collapse. This is braindead move number one. Then, just about 40 seconds from the buff timing out we wind up where the video starts, with bot lane sieging and getting in some chip damage just before an optimal moment to back for our next item purchase, mid lane chilling clearing waves, and top lane applying some pressure knowing that Graves is liable to be top side going for his still up red buff.

Here's the clip, and then I'll dissect the play:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDHF2RDYM7w

So we see that Graves is indeed top side and goes for a top lane gank since Aatrox was pushing, and after a bit of good kiting the Aatrox secures the kill on Graves while bot lane is continuing to push to tower to set up for a good back. Ahri meanwhile dies to Gragas under tower. And then the Karma, with blue buff just about to expire, does something inexplicably stupid that would typically out right cost the team the game: she goes UNDER the enemy tower to place a ward in a bush that LITERALLY no one on the enemy team could POSSIBLY approach from given that Graves is dead, we can see GP in top and Gragas just tower dove Ahri and would be coming from our red side jg or the river with very low hp. What the Karma does in this situation is LITERALLY int away a buff and kill the 15 cs lead we have in bot lane (with a kill and an assist to boot) leaving the manaless adc that was JUST about to back after a good push and chip in a long lane with no hope of escape ensuring that she actually inted herself AND her adc while simultaneously transferring blue buff to the opposing adc. This is just straight up trolling, and literal inting and griefing. There are no two ways about that. But it's the type of thing that happens commonly in lower level matches because players are simply playing without their brains turned on.

The moral of the story here is that you need to use your brains in game because you wont always have a diamond player to bail you out by power farming for the next 15 minutes to overcome the mistake you made that should cost you the match and hard carry the late game fights. That was a lucky break for the Karma, and for those of you out there reading this you probably won't be so lucky. Use your head in game, don't do silly pointless things that won't matter at all when you have the information already to KNOW that such silly thing wont matter at all except to give the opposing team a game breaking advantage.

How do you get someone to use their brain when they need to use their brain to understand "use your brain"?

Jokes aside everyone talks about map awareness and how looking at the map is good, but the resources that show people what they should be looking at on the map are few to none. Posts like this one are good, but we honestly need something like this as part of an advanced tutorial on the client. Map pressure, warding, and other things that take a little brain power to manage need to be taught. It's no longer acceptable for basic stuff like this to be a divider of player skill, resources need to be provided in the game client.

This game is nearly a decade old, it's well past the time for a tutorial that teaches players how to play the game, rather than just the basics of the UI and controls.

I stopped reading at karma took kill that was secured and that was braindead move number one.

This is enough for me to see you are self entitled egoist adc main who thinks supports are his slaves. I bet you main Vayne, Lucian or maybe Draven (didn't check your acc because seriously I don't care).

So first, I cannot count how many times not securing the kill when I had that opportunity backfired. Unless you (as a support) are in really high elo (d5+) and you actualy have voice communication with your lane partner never ever stop dishing damage when you have the opportunity to do so. Use everything your kit offers (but use defensive abilities on lane partner if possible) - if he is not able to get that kill it is his own fault. I see this very often by assassin players, or players who play champions with delayed damage like tristana that they apply damage, ignite or ability with delayed damage and stops attacking even if they could - expecting the kills will get though. This here is stupid and often lets enemy to survive. Dead enemy is always win situation for everyone not just for the guy who got a kill. And support can use that gold just as well as marksman, enchanter will get more damage, tank will get more tanky and 2v2 gets easier.

Second, if that was an enchanter or mage support killing the jungler gives him maybe even more benefits than to marksman especially if he had blue buff. Brand, Karma or Sona wit blue buff can solohandedly win a lane. Red is indeed better for marksman but well even enchanter/mage can harass nicely with it using just autoattacks.

Third. Low elo players are bad thats why they are there. This thread has no education value it is only toxic rant.

You might need to cover karma`s summoner name, and maybe everyone else in the match :/

TBH I think she was using wards just to use them, probably didn't even understand their impact and where they should be placed.

Before today I'd applaud what you're trying to do. However today, I had a game where I was hard carrying. I took everything up until the enemy team's 3 inhibs. Now we're in their base. I die but my team survives. Their nexus is open. It came down to a 2v2. Their Zed and Teemo was alive. Teemo took off as he was no match for our Jhin and whoever else, I can't remember. All Jhin and my other team mate had to do was kill Zed, who had nothing left and was badly wounded and from there, they had free reign to end the game right there. Anyone want to guess what my team mates did? They chased Teemo all the way from their base to the dragon pit. Long story short, this afforded the enemy team time for their Yasuo to get big and hard carry. They won eventually. Want to know the funny part? They didn't even catch Teemo.

I tell you this story so you'd realize one little thing. 90% of Silver players are legit retarded. You can't help them. That game today taught me this. I never realized that until that match.

regardless of her using her brains or not I don't think it's okay to post a video here of someone else with their summoner name showing with the topic of the video calling them the R word. That is not okay.

I try telling them every time ....the reality is that you are gonna be told to shut up and they will die over and over again . just because they didn't wanna take some advice? So yeah im bronze 2 and im damn well no going anywhere up because of the players i keep getting ....dont believe me ....look at my games @dikgod via op.gg

Going in 1v5 to start a fight before your team makes it to help you and then they all die because you died first so the enemy team aces and wins?
