So Yorick's W is basically a better Jarvan ult.

Its really not, Jarven's ult is an aoe nuke, especially if your building AD. Yoricks W does no damage and you can escape it by attacking the walls, or your teammate can attack the walls for you.

Yorick's wall has exactly 2 advantages over Jarvan's.

1. It is ranged.
2. Allies can move through it freely.

By every other possible measurement, Jarvan's is stronger. It has damage (AOE damage, no less), a window of CC-immunity, and is a gap-closer. It is also targeted, making it very difficult to avoid.

Yorick's is a delayed ground-target, telegraphed enough that many players will avoid it altogether.

The only thing about it "better" than Jarvan's ult is that allies can walk through it.

Other than that every aspect of J4's ult is, not surprisingly (being an ult), better.
