It's because if we have 1 DPS and Rest Tank we can actually get a kill and potentially win duels

If we go pure tank, we do nothing

He's just saying bruisers like darius that make a hydra and then the rest tank are not tanks.

And yes, they need a least a little damage so the enemy team doesn't just completely ignore them in fights.

I'm saying people call it a bruiser build when they have 5 defensive items and they're a hypercarry when they have 2 offensive items

un this case: Tank = useless, cause without any source of damage you just get ignored.
