I really don't know what you were thinking rito

There are maybe 2 champions that the new ap jungle item is viable on.

Other than that most ap junglers are better off going ad like fiddlesticks

i mean seriously? I'm supposed to auto attack when i crowstorm instead of draining there carry?

The old jungle item may not have been super flashy and was very simple but overall High AP And 20% cooldown is all an ap jungler REALLY needs.

Amumu Wont likely build either one. But he does AA for his passive. Chogath Same as Amumu. Diana Great change for her. Ekko Often builds Lichbane anyway. Elise Not even sure what she builds anymore. Evelynn Often builds Lichbane or goes AD/hybrid anyway. Gragas Often builds LIchbane. Although doesn't usually get the AP jungle item. Karma Does AA for her passive. Usually builds Athene/Morello so the CDR isn't a big deal. Trades AP for the on hit as she doesn't build Lichbane. I'd say she came out a little ahead overall. New AP item+Q will do more damage than old AP item. Karthus Defiantly hit on this one. Kayle Unsure what she builds as jungle. I would see the on-hit item being better since she builds around Hurricane now. Allowing her to also pick up Lichbane for lots of on hit damage. Leona Doesn't often jungle. But when she does she's a tank. Think I'll just stop listing AP tanks. Nidalee Often builds Lichbane anyway. This allows her to skip other mana items as well. Overall a buff. Nunu Usually goes tanky. Doesn't usually build Lichbane. But does like raw AP. Does AA quite a bit. Overall even. Gives more flexability in damage, but reduces the rest of his damage. Not that he's likely to build the AP jungle item either way. Poppy Builds Lichbane if AP. If jungle will have some serious mana problems. Probably a good buff overall. Shaco Builds Lichbane if AP. Can have mana issues. Although less overall damage. It does open up an item slot. Which could easily cover the lost damage.

And that's all of the AP champions who are likely to build it.

Out of all of them two are hurt by this change. Fiddlesticks and Karthus. Many are evened out and the rest got a buff.

And even Fiddle is iffy. He is VERY blue dependent. Using E then AA into W will be very beneficial to him. Losing out on some AP and CDR should easily be covered by not needed as much regen in the jungle. IMO Fiddle comes out even. Although he doesn't make as much use of it all like most AP's it will still benefit him enough to cover the losses in other areas.

Those who play jungle Karthus are the only ones who should be complaining. Even then he's likely to AA at least once and can have mana issues. This would open up more use of his AoE without going OOM. Netting faster clears. Even with that we're talking a very situational jungle champion here.
