Is matchmaking screwed up for anyone else lately?

I'm playing norms, I'm an unranked player due to connection issues but was Silver two season ago, and I'm constantly playing against high gold and plat players. And no, it's not my MMR. I'm at most Gold 4 on a day where literally everything is in alignment. What the hell? Don't remember it being this bad in other preseasons.
