So for this new champion mystery system I had a suggestion/idea

Is there someone way you could add some system where if the player has NEVER played a champion before they will have to play BOT matches and not NORMAL matches. I think there was a thread discussing the differences in how players learn new champions between normal and bot matches, and I'm aware that real game experience against other players is better to improve their skills, but at least if they play in bots they'll at least understand the basics of a champion.

I just feel like going straight into a live 5 v 5 match with a champion you never touched before is more of a hindrance on the rest of the team, for example I just had a Draven go 1/8 in my last match and he claimed that it was his first time and he had NEVER played Draven before. I believe Draven is somewhat difficult compared to other ADC's so obviously he will be difficult for people who have NEVER played him before.

I'm not suggesting that they play like 10 bot matches before they are allowed to take the champion into a PvP match, but more like maybe at least 3 or so, just enough for them to get a feel for the champion, how it's suppose to be built, and learn the basics so they don't go into a PvP match right off the bot and fall flat on their faces.

I agree that learning through failure is a good way to gain experience but what I'm suggesting is that they could limit their failures if they had at least played a few matches to learn simple mechanics.

TL;DR I'm suggesting if you've never played a champion before that you should have to play a few bot matches before taking that champion into a PvP match. (I think this should be applied to all modes in the game excluding bots of course, and especially including ranked.)
