I can't even try to win playing solo in ranked

I get solo team mates spamming ff at 20 7 minutes into the game flaming each other and basically giving up on the game running 1v5s stopping to get objectives stop farming and just want to lose . can't even give someone constructive advice without getting a truckload of cussing back. and we're against communicating 3-4-5 man party just goon squading and 5 man ganking lanes and getting turrets. its just undoable. horrible experience. thanks for this new dynamic queue. am gonna stop playing solo bymyself and getting some people to party up with me because the solo experience is pure trash and i lose just because of that factor. your making us lose because of something that isn't in our power to change.

i dont know what going on in the ivory castles of high elo but that is the case in silver right now.

YOU can EASILY make a checkbox that asks you if u want to be place with premades or not. longer queues. sure whatever. obv parties would have that box grayed out and automatically be placed into their own que

oh your winning lane. it doesn't matter because you will have 5 players in your lane once they're done with theirs to basically end your laning phase. and global gold means that your enemy laner has more gold than you no matter if u out killed him or out csd him at that point

Just boycott ranked dude until they sort it out

I don't agree with you saying you can't even try. Even if you are garbage you can try. It's called a garbage can and not a garbage can't for a reason right.

First of all savage.

Secondly, awesome quote.

The only time flamers completely ruin my games is when they're premade now.

I always utilize the pregame chat to try to get everyone into a good mood. My last game we were basically chorus singing the duck song before the game started, and after it started we all agreed the blame would go on one guy and asked all chat to blame our support if they died. Then we proceeded to win pretty handily knowing that if anything happened it was just "blame blitz".

Make the game fun. People are less likely to rage if they're having fun anyway. Relaxed players play better. Tons of reasons for it.

Problem is as a solo player you'll get premades that aren't looking to have fun with the plebs they're playing with, so there's really nothing you can do about it. Especially if it's a 4 man crew and they completely control the surrender vote.

I actually played against four guys that were in a club together - they proceeded to crush us pretty handily (in blind pick) and then they surrendered just before winning. Hilarious.

i mean. last match my team surrendered and we still haven't lost a single inner turret. we had only lost 1 outer turret. because they just gave up on the game when they get 1v5d by the enemy team. jungler gets invaded by 3 people. you can't react to it as well as you can if you had communication and u dont know what the other laner is gonna do. i cant type it out what am gonna do in time. like logic. do you get it rito?

Yeah, playing Dynamic ranked is a terrible experience most of the time. I only play it when I want to put out a video.

So basically 1-2 games a day at most. What really sucks is if I want to actually climb I need to find people to play with.

Couple reasons this sucks for me is,

  1. I don't have any IRL friends who League, they're all playing CSGO.
  2. I don't like adding people cause 90% of the time they just end up flaming when I duo with them.
  3. Social anxiety

just go normal, is the same as dynamic

Eugoogalizer3 votes

The problem I've seen with this is that normal are even worse. Whenever I watch my girlfriend or actually try a normal myself, I constantly see people troll picking because they didn't get the role they want. I understand that it's not punishable for off meta picks, but you know you're going have a bad time when someone picks Darius support. And why did he pick him as support? Why because he queued up as Fill and didn't expect support because "I picked fill because you only get support 80% of the time"

At least in rank you get a fairly more serious champ select. Although the overall experience isn't so great either. Just counting the days til overwatch comes out.

That's the stupid grind for mastery>keys/chests... this is also on the rise for dynamic.

If people make a troll pick it's pretty easy to just dodge queue... 5 minutes isn't that long

This.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist.

Also add incentives for solo's to not check the box...

the premade vs solo bullshit is actually a bigger problem in higher elo than low elo. for example in master+ elo,due to the lack of players, a 5man premade will often just get random solo queue enemies.

Then you've never been to gold, it's littered with people who don't belong above bronze.

I started staying up to play games at 2 or 3am just to avoid getting queued up with premades like that with boosters and smurfs. It still happens frequently though and I've accepted that some games where I'm getting 4 man ganked every 3 minutes just aren't winnable. Might as well do what everyone else is doing and queue up with a group to stomp solo players

Eugoogalizer1 votes

Really bugs me to get 4 man ganked top lane and not see my bot or mid lane shoving to trade a tower.

SlaktarTasken1 votes

Tip for DQ; don't bother going more than 3 premades unless ur on voicecoms and have alot of experience playing together, you'll just get stomped by people who have that experience and are using voicecoms. 2-3 works nice, seems to be the magic number when playing DQ ranked, the rest is just garbage imo. U will still probably get the occasional 2+3v5fullcomsfullexp, which will be a really shit experience, but I don't think it happens that often.

Also, in one of my 4+1v4+1 or 5 premade games, one of my teammates had a "random" disconnect at a key moment which cost us the game as we had an inferior team comp but were snowballing pretty hard up to that point.

So be prepared for that it might also happen to you and make sure ur routers, firewalls, voicecomsoftare etc are adequately set up and preferably not using default ports for added security as some cheater scum will go to any lenghts to win, sadly, I don't know if there is much you can do to add security through lol itself, there might be. Could be worth checking up if ur gonna 4+1 or 5man.

Or your teammate connection gave up on him. Blaming it on DDOS, scripting, boosters, etc. is just a sad excuse for failure or bad luck.

Yeah, because people cheating in LoL is extremely unheard of. For the record, wether it was so or not, what's the downside to taking precautions? Hate the idea of not being able to nuke somebody who stomps you in lane or what?

Also, Riot even has a ddosing prevention guide, would there really be a need for such a thing in a game where these things "never" happen?

This is why I only play ranked with a premade (2-3 not to get matched against 4-5) and normals otherwise.

dr lichdeath1 votes

thats why you dont u place a banner and a portal in a bush near a turret and go farm and kill ennemies in traps rinse and repeat this good if ur support jn and toplane

Felt like a free handout to preorganzed teams when it came out, and another slap in the face for newer players.

There is already a huge deal of strategic-merit involved when it comes to playing with friends--generally in the form of better communication or teammates having a bether sense of each others' repertoire of skill. Taking it ten steps further and basically scrambling the opposing team--which, as far as I've seen, doesn't make much of an effort to match two players of similar skill into the same position--basically makes winning in this kind of scenario extremely unlikely.

I would have absolutely no issue with Dynamic Queue if players in a given role could expect to face a player who was actually in the same ballpark in terms of skill.

Chaos Milk Tea1 votes

Oh man, I hate playing with strangers who I can't coordinate with while the enemy gets to enjoy their non toxic gameplay session with actual coordinated movements and other things that are supposed to be part of the game.

If people are capable of getting Diamond in solo queue with the new dynamic queue, why can't you? Oh that's right... it's all because of your teammates right?

I especially like the last paragraph

Congratulation on winning your lane. Where were you when the rest of your team needed you to apply pressure to the other lanes, counter enemies gank or win objectives? If you win your lane, you should bring that win to other lanes or at least pressure the rest of the map and give your team the edge they need to win too. Not sit in your lane waiting for the inevitable gank because the other team understood what you didn't. BRINGING THEIR WIN TO OTHER LANES. If you lose your lane, you should try to come back by putting weight on other lanes so they can help you in return once they secured their win. If your lane opponent put pressure on the rest of the map, you should counter him by following up on his ganks to turn the tides or punishing him by taking the turret from him. Forget about laning phase. There is no such thing as a laning phase. You are subject to gank at every single level and roaming can and will happen well before level 6.

Winning your lane, getting more CS than your lane opponent, that's all nice and dandy, but you win as a team, not as a solo player. You queuing with other people or by yourself won't change that fact.

Yea, he is right.. Im always laughing on the pricks who complain about team, when they just ping enemy missing and countinue to last hit minions in lane not even push or try to follow and when someone on the team dies they complain with I said SS starts to blame and shit.. and feeding isnt only dying, u may have died only once but if u gave the enemy yasuo free farm, free roam I consider that feed too.. There are also games that there is nothing you can do, since on low elo you get matched up with kids who only chase kills no matter how much I try to follow up they fail the chasing and in the and just press the B button or overstay in overextended area and get cought, leave other lanes empty for enemy to push freely, Ive faced people like that too, Im playing riven top vs a fiora that guy didnt even knew what her passive is and what her W does he randomly used her W not try to counter my 3rd Q or W .. I flamed the shit out of him just because he ruined the experience for otherplayers and they were a premade one of his friend got mad at me we went 1 v 1 after the game I picked riven knowing that there are picks that can destroy me, but he decided to pick Xin zhao vs me.. and then again I went straight to 10/0 he couldnt leave his second tower with just between 10-20 farm.. 8 wins 2 losses placed me in bronze, I have to deal with kids.. then again I deserved it last season i got to silver 5 had a toxic attitude(which means I probably got lots of reports), Ill climb up again I believe climbing up is only about teamwork and consistency :) ..

If we get S- / s / s+ We should not lose Lp Because obviously it's not our problem.

I've noticed that a lot. I mostly solo queue up fill (support 99.9% of the time because riot can't fucking match up the games) and there are games that I work my ass off doing everything I can to win, and some games, i can't carry because I'm a support.

About the only thing that can actually turn a game around from having these toxic players on your team are broken items such as Rageblade, and Portal/Command. At best, this stalls the game out for you guys to get the levels after they have fed, but sometimes, that's not even enough as riot's balancing system is like monkey's throwing shit on a board and seeing what needs to be changed instead of looking at player feedback and item analysis on what champions are building what and their win % with said items ( Tank Ekko cough cough although that's finally getting nerfed)

What I've done getting to gold for the first time ever, was just take the good games with the bad. you'll get on win streaks, and if you are on a losing streak, then go play a few normals til you cool off then try again. By that time your mmr would have tanked so that you're playing against terrible disorganized people and you can get a few wins off that.

I do agree that riot needs to basically fix their shit as it's almost not fair for someone to earn an s+ on a champion yet end up losing 20-25 LP and end up gaining only 14-19 back on their next win.
