Just read a post where a dude was flipping the fuck out cuz he got demoted and was SO MAD because he'd have to do promos to get back to his tier.

This is my first ever MOBA, first ranked season, climbed from B5 -x (yes I had a huge negative LP total at B5 it's possible lmao) to S5 so far. Just shitloads of games I'm not lying. But the bottom line, I love promos, I love the playoffs, I love putting an opponent in there promos back, I love how stressed people are playing in ranked and how promos is like that times 10. The shit hits the fan and I love the splatter, rage, and competition.

I swear kids these days never had to walk in the snow or something, why so entitled?!? Earn it!!! It's worth more now I fought for it :)

So, judging by the post you literally have no clue how awful promotions are. They force you to win an extra 2 out of 3 games, even though you might already be on a 4 win loss streak. The game automatically pairs you with worse players if your MMR is higher than the enemy team. Not saying team mates are the cause of losses, but they contribute.

I want to see you get demoted back into Bronze just to watch you climb out again, and say the same thing.

I got demoted, I won like 6 or so and got back to promos and 1-3'd them. I've done the silver promos 3 times now

I'm silver, I got placed there, demoted to B5, climbed, and got back in after 3 tries. Silver 5 is now very relaxing and much easier than B1 and I'm hoping to climb mid silver before another skill clamp forces me out of my comfort zone and makes me improve again
