How do I ADC vs an Ekko?

So I'm trying to do ADC this season instead of support and the guy who's kicking my butt more than the other assassin is Ekko. I caught myself getting baited into chasing which is supremely dumb cuz of his ult but the timings and animations on his spells just completely screw me up. When you see Ekko get picked on the other side what adc seems to work for you?

Myself I'm thinking maybe Ezreal or Varus and try to poke. But is being a bitch part of the problem and you're gonna get wrecked with those guys? Maybe going hard in the paint with Sivir and her spellshield won't be a bad idea. Anyways, it seems like I have to be WAY ahead in order to 1v1 this guy, not to mention I suck in team fights he's in. If any Ekko players or good ADCs have tricks for him I'd appreciate it.

Dude stay with your support, assassins are supposed to kill you 1v1 unless youre fed af or manage to do a breathtaking outplay

Unless he's super fed he's probably the easiest assassin to deal with(if he's full ap that is).

You kinda answered your question yourself : just don't get baited into his w and/or ult.Oh, and if you have that much trouble with him you should pick adcs with at least some sort of mobility, even dravens w is enough.
