Old adc meta new again?
Saw this video and had some thoughts for improving the build. Though why I am suggesting an improvement that will help adc's when I'm a top bruiser/tank main, I have no idea.
Build shown in video: (end with is my predicted last items you would consider):
end with
or
(upgrade of choice)
My suggested build:
(upgrade of choice)
Why?: Both give you early game damage from tri-force and bork. While your power spike from ie and essence reaver is delayed vs the power from black cleaver and pd, it is a larger power spike in terms of raw damage and because of crits. The latter also gives you higher crit chance, doesn't add more unneeded attack speed (you get needed raw damage stats behind each auto and spell cast), and it gives you some extra mana regen so you don't have to worry as much about going oom in an extended fight or waveclearing tower defense scenario. Both builds also give you max cdr. Drawback -- if you wait till last item to build armor pen, you will be weaker in later part of mid game until you finish 5th item; so maybe build it before either ie or essence reaver and end with one of those items instead. Also, you have more armor pen with the 2nd build unless you go 5th item armor pen with first build. Note, the 2nd build (that I suggest) takes much longer/more gold to complete. The tradeoff is much stronger final build though; and since both have good early game damage, you can use the lead you build early to accelerate your gold intense late game items so your final build happens at a reasonable pace vs the pace of enemy adc not using either of these builds. Thus, your end build shouldn't really take longer to reach than a traditional end game adc build I would imagine. Final thoughts: first build he uses fervor -- which I believe is a must to add any punch to your aa damage. With the 2nd build -- because you are getting more punch behind your auto's via higher damage items and decent crit chance (40%) -- you are actually more free to choose between fervor and warlord's. Anyway, that's my thoughts.
