Why is this not as big a topic as the number of players in ranked que now?

Riot added 4 and 5 man premades to ranked, bu doesn't want to add in client voice chat....

Even if we ignore the fact that Riot has posted about how having chat w/ some players left out (looking at you 4 man premade) increases toxic/negative behavior in games I think this is still a pretty big oversight.

It may not perfectly balance the advantage of a 5 man over 4+1, but what could possibly be the excuse for not adding something as simple as in client voice chat to at least make the advantage between 4+1 and mans, or 3+2 and 4+1 groups a smaller advantage? Riot if you're going to leave this new que can you please give us voice chat so we can at least try to match the coordination advantage of our opponents when we aren't getting even group matches?

Riot Stated a while ago that they didn't want to incorporate an "In game Mic System" because of other party programs already there. Ex: Skype, Curse, TS3.

Op wants this stuff compulsory. Skype helps the Premades more so that 5 strangers, because said strangers would have to bring up the call on the fly. (And even if they had the time, people may still decline) They also don't want anything interacting with their software during play. (which is why Cursed voice is Banned)

If riot wanted to support 3rd party programs, the best way to do that, would be to create links in their software that accesses these programs. (e.x. Call this summoner on Skype)

Curse voice is not banned. It used to be banned because it gave external information to you such as timers, which curse voice patched immediately after Riot gave a statement on it.

I still think there is a solid argument for it being a problem because not everyone will have the same systems. Even if the fix is just that riot endorses a particular 3rd party system and provides a link on their website I think that would be fine, but I don't want to have to set up curse voice, ts3, AND skype (none of which I use currently) just to be able to play ranked and not have it be a shit experience.

Now if 5 mans are only matched with 4+1s and 4+1s are only with 5 mans or 3+1s it's not a big issue bc if I solo the advantage on other teams/mine is the exact same, but it is gonna suck until the community can agree on a 3rd party that is generally used for ranked so you don't have to have 3 or 4 things up. (Plus I don't want to talk when I play league generally, I'm an introvert and LIKE being somewhat isolated and getting to just chill when I play ranked. That's part of why I don't play normals during most of the season and now I don't have anywhere to do that)
