Is it possible to ever put Yi behind?

Is there anyway to keep this guy behind? I’ve seen Yi keep up despite having scores like 1/8, how do we even put him behind or is he just THAT brain dead?

Not only is it entirely possible to put Yi behind, he can get there without you putting him there.
