So I recently made a smurf and I noticed something really interesting.
I'm by no means a high elo player, but with friends that are either new to the game, or low bronze, it's not really fun for them to have people my level, low gold, face them. And the biggest things I've noticed is just how nice everyone is. I mean, I've never seen players give friends of mine the help that these low leveled players have given them. Instead they're usually attacked for not being good enough, even when they explain they're new to the game.
When did all of these players forget where they once were? I remember not 2 years ago popping ultimates to clear a wave of minions, thinking I could take smite and use it on players, ect. And I also remember getting the same help when I would say in the beginning of games, "sorry guys I'm new to the game." I'd get people helping me out extra in lane, letting me know certain things about the champion's kit, and more than that, understanding when I wasn't the best.
For some reason, the community has seemed to get worse and worse by the year. People attacking new players, and just being mean to them at times. Honestly if I came into the game in it's current state at average to above average ELO, I don't know if I would have stuck with it. Thought I'd through this out there and see if anyone else had the same feelings. This is a great game, but the community could use some work.
