If you're a Wukong main and you wanna win more games, read this.
Well, seems like Riot won't be doing any small scale rework for Wukong, at least not in the near future, and they probably won't change his passive "since they never addressed that in the Gameplay thoughts, and he definitely won't get any buffs.
So since a lot of Wukong mains are struggling, I thought I'd give it a shot to help ya'll out to win more games.

Start playing Wu in the jungle. Why? your early game has been destroyed, your Q doesnt scale at level 1 and your trades are worst.
-
forget about Electrocute and start picking Darkharvest [mostly while playing Jung-Wu]. DarkHarvest offers a lot of power and carry potential, specially since you can apply the damage more than once in a tf and it works well with E->Q combo

Try to play smart and safe early game, and if you're good with playing around your souls, you can outdamage the enemy jungler or the enemy laners Even though you're not longer laning and you're jungling, you still need to watchout from the counterjungling and early game trades. The more you gank the more you collect souls [on kills and cannons]
Most of the time I follow this build and so far I've been successful in my climb:
==> rush
, then finish
, and from here you go situational [[
anti magic dmg /
anti healers /
anti tanks /
anti phys damag + more survivability to apply more damage ]]
Tbh, this playstyle requires a lot of patience and to get used to it.
Discuss if got any questions.

this does focus on 1v1s and splitpushing, giving high sustain, high dps, high towerdamage and waveclear, enough tankiness to not get bursted 1v1 and the deadmens ms to either get a solid flank or escape an enemie colapse. It comes at the cost of you're teamfigthing though, you don't have the burst to really assasinate a target unless you're allowed to sit on them and AA nor are you tanky enough to survive any bit of focused fire. You can pick up unsuspecting targets from a good flank and cleanup, but generally you avoid teamfights and focus on splitpush and maybe small fights.

This is more similar to what you're used to, but more defensive in the early with FF for sustain instead of burst from EC and an early tiamat to farm up you're shit befor you can start deleteing squishys. The advantage to the direct lethality rush is that you have more dps, more sustain, extra mobillity and can easily go for hit n run strats rather than either bursting in q combo or die trying. trinity+FF+stromrazo is some impressive ms boost after you're E+Q You also hit 30% cdr on you're first two items, so with either runes or boots you can get max cdr very quickly. This built gives a saver laneingphase and more fallback patterns for fights instead of beeing helbend on getting the big 100-0 burst.

Trinity+titanic+grasp make for suppriseingly high burst despite beeing tanky, especially at your two item spike you can often burst squishys with R+AA+hydra+Q, Steraks gives solid ad while protecting vs burst and warmongs sustain has high value since wu has a rather easy way out of fights with W. Gargoyls just makes sure you live long enough in a teamfight to get you're second W after the engage. You can exchange one of the tanly items for duskblade to have more burst against squishys, supprisingly enough this built offers more burst than the 1v1 built mostly because titanic actually is broken...
This built has a solid laneingphase vs melees thx to grasp+Q and is rather flexible, he becomes a potent duelist with good waveclear, hard to burst and still strong in teamfights. Just don't expect to solocarry in the same way a full damage ape could do.
