I wasn't actually expecting his build to work out but it did. Same as the old tank yi did against teams with low cc. Gets cced> tanks barely > auto attacks and qs for triple. It was pretty annoying to see this working out. Im hoping that tank yi isn't 'back' again because that was just unhealthy. Might have just been his kda but regardless he was able to 2 shot our adc and it took him like a Q and 3 autos to kill me. With tank items at that. wnst exactly fun to fight.

The Master Yi in the linked game had:

item 3111 item 1419 item 3153 item 3142 item 3124 item 3742

Four pure offensive items and one defensive item is not a "tank" build.

Quite frankly, that's a damage build with a single defensive item.

If you've forgotten, the old "Tank" Yi build was:

(Boots) item 1419 item 3124 item 3742 item 3156 item 3053

This was back when Guinsoo's Rageblade was about 1k Gold cheaper, the shields on Sterak's Gage and Maw of Malmortius stacked, and when Sated Devourer and Guinsoo's Rageblade had on-hit magic damage.

Honestly, your Rengar had built more defensively than Master Yi.

Apparently a Deadman's Plate is all you need to be a tank now.
