Fiora has been getting too strong due to nerfs and reworks of other champions

IMO, fiora would have been a balanced champion if her counters in the game stayed intact. But the rework to pantheon caused fiora to lose a very hard counter to top lane, most fiora's would cry and afk the pantheon patch up, which is why even after the fiora buffs fiora would still be a balanced pick, because pantheon was a direct hard counter and could be used to make the fiora cry tears for her pick. But the pantheon rework changed all of that, and fiora lost a huge coutnerpick, making her alot stronger. But there was still 1 last good pick, malphite, where the malphite could beat the fiora in lane spamming his q button like the old pantheon, using his passive to brush off the fiora poke, and all inning after the fiora was low, and beating her in teamfights. But riot states that next patch, they want to nerf ap malphite. I get that ap malphite is too strong, and I agree it does need a nerf. But this nerf could have the unintended consequence of making fiora too strong. With no good counterpicks available, fiora's counterplay in the top lane will be abysmal, a lane where you just get beat up and hope your team wins coinflip. Much like how broken klepto kayle is, but riot is addressing this and nerfing kayle and removing the massive gold generation potential of kleptomancy. Fiora was buffed for worlds like ashe, but ashe is getting nerfs and fiora isn't? There is no champion that can stand equal grounds to fiora in a direct 1v1 on an equal skill level. Jax may stand a chance at the highest levels, but the removal of shojin could seriously screw jax over in terms of how useful he is after the next patch. After 2 more patches, fiora could become such a dominant pick that there would be nothing to contest how broken she is a 1v1, because of the removal of shojin that takes out strong picks like jax and renekton. Even though shojin is a good item on fiora, fiora does not need shojin to 1v9, she is already strong enough to snowball a lead. don't tell me kled counters fiora, if kled actually lands his q the fiora can prary stun him, and destroy him afterwards, one of the easiest match ups because kled actually gets punished for landing his q, and the healing debuff won't go through.

If fiora had real counterpicks, like jax, malphite, pantheon, fiora would be balanced even with her q doing so much damage to objectives. But with jax losing his spear of shojin, malphite getting nerfed, and pantheon getting a rework, fiora has been way too fucking strong because of the lack of counterpick there is.

She's hovering at 50% win ratio right now. Not much point in predicting how strong she'll be in 2 patches

A champion does not get too strong through others getting too weak. They can get overbearing, but if a champ does not change, they themselves are not too strong. Instead, if her counters are weak that is not an issue with Fiora but an issue with her counters. Sometimes buffing what's bad really is the more healthy solution.

She has a winrate of 50% with less than 1% difference across every elo from iron to masters+. Her playrate and banrates are also relatively low.

I'm hard-pressed to think of a more balanced champion.
