Can someone give me tips on improving(plat and higher players please + read before commenting)

So the highest I have reached is g5. I want you to be atleast plat. Even tho plat is not that high, I still would like to know what helped you get there. It would be real awesome if some high diamond or even higher player sees this and replies. I just suck at this game so much. I have no idea how to improve. I cannot find a champion I want to main(I don't have a single mastery 7 champ because of how random champs I play). Even if I play ranked then usually I will perform horribly because idk what I'm comfortable picking and so on. Then I'm just afraid to play more ranked games because my MMR will drown like a brick in water. After failing in rank I don't even want to play normals because of how bad I am. I just go play ARAMs(that explains why like ~40% of my normal games are ARAM games). I seriously need help at improving. I don't even know what lane and what champs do I want to play. I just seem to fail in everything. How do I climb? How do I find my main roles and champs? How do I get better?

Okay so honestly it doesn't matter who you play or what role you play as long as you have fun. So the way I feel is that at higher ranks, people just understand the game better. So I am currently Diamond 3, when I smurf in a silver or gold game, it feels like i don't have to make any plays, and that they other team is just handing me kills and objectives. This is because I have played enough to know how to capitalize on their mistakes. These are mistakes I dont see at higher ranks, so when I see them while smurfing, it feels like the other person just doesn't know as much. The same thing happens when I play on my main account. So in higher ranks, there often aren't enough people playing. Sometimes I get challenger people in my game, and when I play vs them, I feel lost. Like I think im going even in lane, im 2-2-3 or something, feeling like im doing decent. When I check the score i see they are like 7-0-2 with 30 cs on me. They make better use of their time. It just comes from learning and understanding the game, how to play more efficiently, when to capitalize and when you can't. making safe plays. stuff like that. just takes practice. Play who you like and you will learn the game. Might as well have fun doing it. Also, if you main one role or champ, its easier to focus on other aspects of the game, but you dont have to just do that.
