Am I the only one sick and tired of Supports just being discount Midlaners? Champions like

, even 
buy one "Support" item (Usually 
), then just stack AP, and when combined with an ADC's usual damage output, a lucky ranged skillshot CC (Like Brand's E, or Lux's Q) and there's no surviving. And if they miss, they've lost nothing but a little mana, and maybe an auto or two. Just wait a few seconds for cooldowns, and try again.
Sona has been doing that for years as AP Sona. Same with Karma and Zyra if they're inclined. I refuse to use the older support items. Too slot inefficient for me personally. On AP supports I stick to 
. Supports job is still to keep clear vision and deny enemy vision, whether or not they build ap, utility or tank.
Frankly I'd like to see the ability for ADCs to be replaced with other champions in lane (not always, but make them situational), though given the ubiquity of the role that would probably be hard to do.
