Bring back old pink wards that can spot that stupid champ in her fucking shroud that she can wank under for over 6 seconds. Reduce her fucking safety/ability to avoid danger/ganks. She's a god damn assassin. AKA "high risk, high reward" playstyle. She's literally unbeatable as a melee champ. She has all the agency/tools to run the lane exactly how she determines it to go. Her damage overkills targets most of the time because you idiots overbuffed her fucking damage in compensation for removing the Q sustain and her ability to dive under enemy turrets. Just disable this abomination already or nerf her into the fucking ground until you decide to rework/revert her.

When you fight Akali, go in after she q's you and walk away after she runs out to get her passive so she can't hit you with it.
Ask your jungler to gank and then all in her, tell your jungler to wait until her shroud is over. You have about a 20 second window to get a free kill on her.
Ask your jungler to pressure different lanes. Akali cannot solo carry unless your team comp is very bad or shes extremely fed. If you go even with her, the odds are in your favor. She doesn't scale into late game extremely well and she also has delayed burst so shes easier to peel off.
After she uses her first ult there's a small ring that appears around her it looks like 3 little tear drops. It's important to remember it if you're low (she can prep her ult by using the R1 in fog of war). Most people don't know about her indicator so they over position and die.
Red trinket is useful against her because it shows where she is in her shroud.
After she uses her R1 you can count in your head roughly 2 and a half seconds you can predict when she is going to use R2 and flash away from it.
An easy cheese to pull on Akali players is tping inside your base infront of them. Many Akali players fall for it and dash to you in base.
An easier cheese is to stand near your tower and make yourself an easy target for her to land E on. If she recasts it (you can tell because the kunai image over your head does some weird spinning thing) you can flash or use a movement spell to go under your tower.
Even when you're ahead fighting her in shroud is a terrible idea. Just walk away and play passive while it's up.
If she uses both E and W you have time to engage. She basically can't do anything because all her defenses are down.
If you're low and she has R up you can bait her to jump out of shroud (this is kind of hard though if your team is bad and can't peel for you)
If you have good wave control you can beat her easily. Her Q pushes up the wave if she tries to get a minion with it, if she uses W or E to farm then engage on her when W is down.
Respect her W and her damage/engage.

I beat her all the time as Illaoi, pretty easy all things consider and I still heavily prefer this version compared to her old one.

You can bait out abilities, dodge her skill shots and if she shrouds just back up as opposed to her old “have the stats to survive my level six burst or you die” kit.

Played her for the first time today she's out on free rotation and I got 23/3 and first thing that came to my head is how broken her kit is. And her ability to snowballed is absolutely unstoppable!!
